Some things that have helped to control my hairfall include: (1) I discontinued wearing ponytails because it causes tension breakage. (2) I started massaging my scalp twice a week with liitleextra cocoonnion hair oil while leaning forward & holding my head upside down to allow blood flow to the scalp. (3) Protecting my head while moving out to shield my hair from pollution. (4) Using gentle shampoo again from liittleextra only to wash my hair.

I am using LittleeExtra Cocoonioon shampoo for 5 months now and have gone through 3 bottles so far. Pros: 1. The shampoo feels natural. 2. Hair feels good after wash, especially if you don’t apply any hair oil. 3. Yes, hair fall has significantly decreased over time. 4. Scalp feels clean and it’s effective against dandruff. Cons: 1. It doesn’t lather much, so you may need to use a little more product. 2. When I apply a lot of oil, I find my hair still sticky after the wash, and a little oil can still be felt.

You are spot on! Rosemary oil has been found to be just as effective as minoxidil in stimulating new hair growth. I will be 64 this year and have noticed not only thinning hair, but the hair follicle miniaurizing to only have baby hair. Between the use of complement supplements, rosemary oil, a caffeine solution to block DHT in the follicle, and scalp massage, my hair is noticeably thicker. There is actual growth of real dark hairs not just baby hair. There is hope!

Can you explain the caffeine solution that you use : how you make it or where you buy it, how you use it, how much, and how often. Thank you!
@karenartis44722 жыл бұрын
@@nettierose4915 Absolutely. First, there are lots of clinical studies that show that caffeine topically applied does block dht. Anytime I hear someone claiming the next miracle remedy, I go straight to the pubmed database to see if there are studies supporting the use of the product/ingredient. For topically applied caffeine, I use Plantur 39 topical solution in the morning. I use the rosemary oil solution in the evening--a little goes a long way. I can go two days before I need to wash my hair. There are other solutions that contain caffeine, such as ones made by The Ordinary and Hair Biology (sold at Target). There are also studies in pubmed that show scalp massage increases hair thickness. Be consistent . . .hair growth takes time.

After washing with this soap I use the tiniest bit of conditioner on the ends of my hair but I honestly think that the stickyness of my previous shampoo and conditioner must have been contributing to the hair loss - perhaps the hair follicles don’t like being clogged up but the changes I have made have worked . Wow. Thank you for this comment Teri! 💝 I have been plant-based since 2014 and at first noticed thicker hair (than I already had)! 2017 I began birth control, because every natural remedy I tried did not lessen my debilitating cramps... While it removed period cramps almost entirely -- I noticed my hair thinning, even though I changed nothing in my diet. Last September I had blood work done and levels were all good, except I had too much iron because I was supplementing! I have changed to recommended shampoos and noticed softer hair but no hair growth. Fast forward to now, since December 2021 I stopped taking birth control pills. Thank God my period cramps haven't come back, I have little to no brain fog, and my hair is thickening up and growing faster! ✨ I believe, like you said, that birth control was causing my hair loss!

Thank you so much for this video. I wasn’t even looking for a video on hair loss but the algorithm must’ve read my mind because it suggested this to me. I’ve been struggling with a lot more shedding and clumps of hair stuck in the drain every time I wash my hair ever since I started taking a new medication for my vestibular migraine disease this past summer. And while I don’t want to stop taking this medication that has been a life changer for me, I also don’t want to lose my hair. My hair has always been so thick and healthy (until recently) and, honestly, it’s always been my best feature, so to lose that would be devastating. I even stopped bleaching my hair about a year ago because I knew that could contribute to hair loss, but that didn’t seem to make a difference. I’ve only noticed a minimal amount of regrowth since I stopped the bleaching. Just tonight I noticed that my hairline has started to recede in certain spots! 🥺 Anyway, this video and your tips have given me so much hope. Thank you!!

Sometimes if you have alopecia from an autoimmune disorder, there’s nothing you can do. I’ve had it for years, get over 100 shots in my head every month to keep it from getting worse. I’m lucky to have very thick hair and alopecia ophiasis (meaning it falls out like a crown around my head) so my hair on top hides it. I’ve lost 50% of my hair though. I’ve tried every autoimmune protocol/ plant based diet and nothing helps. My hair actually stopped growing when I was 100% vegan. So while I’m mainly plant based now, I may have some fish/shrimp and collagen powder. Rarely some cheese. My doctor gave me an omega 3 caplet made from fish. My hair that I do have grows nice now and is healthy. I’ve also found Hask products reduced my fallout in the shower. Currently trying that rice water shampoo bar. I will definitely try this stuff out, I will keep on trying stuff out in hopes it will make a difference. I’ll never give up hope. I’d rather try natural stuff than all the meds they want to pump in me.

the meridians from the organs and different parts of the body go to various areas of the scalp. you should see an acupuncturist-herbalist who is aware of the relationship. Also the different emotions affect different organs, so excess emotion must be kept in check. Pretty much everything in the body can affect the hair, so it's important to identify the meridians and trace which organs and areas of the body are affecting you the most. some of the best foods to consume are the fresh raw green juices. Some fruit juices are good too, but not easy to get like fresh raw pomengranate when in season. if your hair stopped growing when you were vegan, you were not eating the correct foods. When I am eating right, I have more growth in one week than two weeks of wrong eating. I recommend checking out Lou Corona's company and protocol. I just had to share a little because I can't imagine how much time it takes to get 100 shots a month.

I think, and this is just my opinion, that your supposed to eat fruit at least one hour before or after your raw or cooked veggies. I started out eating lettuce and tomato sandwiches and orange juice to wash it down. And I got acid stomach. Now I have a fridge and freezer and stove and don't smash my food together like I did when I first started. Try to eat

I am desperate and found this video while poking around your site. I have been plant based for 1 1/2 years, had Covid about 4 months ago, so not sure what is going on. But I ordered the supplements and will also do the oil treatment. 🤞 here’s hoping! 😊

Brazil nuts are a natural source of selenium and zinc too. Cod liver oil blocks DHT. I keep a bottle in my fridge. Seafood in general is a natural source of iodine and two meals per week involving seafood should be enough for the average person. Food really is medicine and supplements can then do what they are intended to do, “supplement” what we are already putting into our bodies.

Amazing video! Super helpful! Another great, vegan, sustainable, and cruelty free shampoo and conditioner that I use are from ethique! They are all silicone, paraben, and sulfate free! They are also shampoo and conditioner bars, so they are plastic free too! They work great for my curly hair even with hard water because they are soap free and pH balanced. They have options that also don't have fragrance, such as the "bar minimum" shampoo bar which I use.

So many people (mostly women) experiencing hair loss after CV-19. I have also heard that fasting and the Keto diet (too much *fat not enough protein*) can lead to hair loss as well. So, if your labs look good, maybe this could be another reason why you are experiencing hair loss. I would also recommend visiting Dr. Eric Berg's channel. He recently posted a fantastic video regarding hair loss. The supplement you recommend lines up with some of his recommendations! side note- Have you tried a silk pillowcase? This really helps prevent breakage and helps improve bed head as well! LOL! Love your vids. xo

I tried Curly Girl Method off and on for about 3 years and noticed scary amounts of hair loss during that time. Think it was all the product I was using, gels, serums, moisturizers that was probably blocking the follicles. Now just shampooing and light conditioner and minimal hair loss. PS not vegan and the collagen powder I put in my coffee once a day has done wonders for hair, skin and nails.

@jennr6928 I never received them. The shipping date kept getting pushed back. I finally canceled the order. I was, however, introduced to a shampoo that actually did and does work! My neighbor sells it, and it's vegan and actually helped grow about 60% of my hair back. It's called Monat. You have to purchase it from someone, kind of like Mary Kay, I've seen it on Amazon, but I wouldn't trust it.
