I love the softness in appearance of the Narcissus ‘Ice Follies (Large Cupped Daffodil) and also the Jonquils.

Hello again Julz. Thank you for watching the video and for reaching out. They are beautiful. I have been going down to check them everyday. The King Alfred Daffodils (they are mixed with), started opening yesterday. I think the Ice Follies will need a few more days yet! It's very exciting though......

I don’t know anything at all about gardening but throughly enjoyed being educated 😃

Nice! I think my favourite bulb flowers would have to be jonquils, I love the scent! ❤

Yes indeed, Jonquils are lovely. I especially like the yellow ones with the little orange trumpets. When I was a kid they grew everywhere at home, I was forever picking them for vases. Their perfume, beautiful as it is, was so strong it would give me a headache. So now I admire them 'in' the garden, not in the house, lol. :-)

I love how the cows came down to see what you were doing 😃 my fave spring bulb is hyacinth 🪻🪻

Thank you the comment Sharon. Yes, the cows always love to be involved in everything that is going on, lol. Hyacinth is a lovely Spring flower, and it has been years since I grew any. I might have to get some planted for next season - I have some lovely ceramic pots that are begging for some Hyacinth. :-)

Can't wait to see al those narcissus bloom in springtime. Also tulips are really nice to combine. We have also put them into the ground here in France to keep the dutch feeling where we originally came from 🙂🌼🌷

Thank you for your comment. I know I can't wait either, I will definitely be doing updates. In a week or two I will have to put up temporary fencing to prevent the deer, wombats and kangaroo from getting to them. If I don't the wild animals nibble the tops off as the green tips emerge! I also love tulips - I plant them in pots and keep them on the verandah. It is too windy here and I like to keep them protected. Stay safe, take care. Susan xxx

Thank you. I already have quite a few King Alfred Daffodils in the same spot. Eventually I want them to 'naturalize' together under the trees. Took me ages to discover the history of the Ice Follies, so I'm really please you enjoyed it all.
