Hi Laura. I've been a mom for 17 years and all my time and energy has been dedicated towards my daughter. Finding your channel has given me a new purpose in life, something to fill the void when she soon goes to college. I've always enjoyed gardens but was to afraid of doing it myself, now thanks to you I'm inspired and proud of my little garden. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, vision and enthusiasm with us. It has changed my life. 💕🌱🌻👩🏻‍🌾

It's no longer me saying to my husband, "remember those videos I told you I as watching about a gardener in Oregon" now it's just "you know what Laura did today!" (Love the idea of using cut hydrangeas in your containers) You both are just Laura and Aaron at my house now and the things I've learned over the last year has my husband saying my gardens look just as nice!! Not quite, but I'm loving the process. Best lesson I learned this last year: put my bulbs in between my perennials, it's made such a difference!

I've started using earbuds to get my morning fix of Garden Answer. Otherwise, whenever my husband helps me with one of our many garden chores he says "this is all because of that woman on KZbin isn't it? " Even if it is the landscape arrangement that he designed that needs maintenance! We're retired with several acres but we no longer have Laura's seemingly bottomless energy and enthusiasm which does not wane as fall approaches! But yes, that Ninebark sitting there that needs planting is a direct result of impulsive clickety-click :) !

He agreed to do it since he was scheduled for open heart surgery end of May but wanted to have a garden. He's never had such beautiful tomatoes and a bountiful crop. Yet, he refuses to admit that GA gave us the impetus to attack this project. Men, smh!

If you plant your pansies in shade and use BioTone in spring and dead head frequently, they just may last until fall. I used it this year for the first time and my pansies are still going strong. When I didn’t get the dead heading done as soon as I should’ve I tossed the seed heads into the garden….and some of them germinated and grew new plants too. (I’m elderly too…don’t always get to things when I should.) When they got leggy I trimmed them back and gave them some flower tone. I’ve used Espoma fertilizers for a few years, but this was first year for Bio Tone. OMG! Will never plant or transplant anything without it again. Huge difference. I’m in zone 6 New England….far far away from you….but pansies like cool and shade.

Keep up the fall themed videos! I went back and watched your October Garden Tour video and was cracking up! It is cool to see how different your garden was and funny to hear you talk plans. I feel like Marty McFly while talking to you on the screen like, "Yep, you will do a fancy greenhouse in this area!" and "Nope, next year will not be your biggest year of new trees!". I love to be able to see the fantastic transformation your garden has taken over the years! So fun!

Can we get a late summer garden tour? In front of the chicken coop looks amazing! I would love to see how all the plants did right before the first heavy frost.

Oh those Mahogany Huchera were gorgeous! I need to find some for my garden! I enjoy having my coffee and watching your video every morning! Your garden and you are so inspiring!! The Lime Light Hydrangea blooms were amazing! Gong back and forth between that anbd Little Lime for an area of my yard once I cut the small trees down along a fence that I dislike and were here when we bought our home 2 yrs ago. Hope you have a wonderful day! Thank you for this great video! :)

That planter in the center of your vegetable garden looks gorgeous the way you did it. I can see through it and it gives an airy feel. Adding an extra bunch of corn would overpower the pansies I think.

I agree with Aaron, the urns by the bench are GORGEOUS!!! But the containers with the heuchera and the white pansies were pretty too. You have such an eye for beauty. Thank you for inspiring us to get out and beautify our gardens.

Oh, I absolutely LOVE the container in the vegetable garden! I also love the ones with the hydrangeas flanking the black bench! You're so lucky you can buy plants this time of year (or retrieve them from your own greenhouse). In my area, besides mums, we can only get plants in the Spring. :(

After watching your video on harvesting seeds from your flowers, I harvested several of my cone flower seeds. I left allot of the flowers for the birds and interest. The other day, a flock of tiny finches landed on the cone flowers and feasted on the seed heads….they must of been on the way to flying south for the Winter. How joyful watching the tiny birds. I’m so glad I left the spent seed heads in the garden.
