Planting Spring Flower Bulbs Made Easy! If you ever wondered how growers get those amazing flower gardens, edges, and displays, its because in the fall previous, they planted their spring bulbs! Truly the easiest way to get a pop-up flower garden in the spring, flower bulbs are so fun to plant!

You learn something new every day! I always just thought a bulb was a bulb, plant them anytime. Maybe because my ground doesn’t freeze here in 8b? I need more bulbs in my life 🌷🌷🌷

Ha ha yeah, its because usually the stores are good at carrying what bulbs you should plant at a certain time. So normally you don't have to think too much about it. :-)

Hey Vicky, has the ground frozen? Some of them are super cold tolerant. You could still get some of those in the ground with a nice thick mulch. All the spring bulbs I see are heavily discounted now too. They become useless after winter so stores really try to get rid of them before Christmas!

@@TheRipeTomatoFarms By earlier I meant last spring. I can't get the saffron crocus bulbs now. No it hasn't frozen yet. It is crunchy on cold days but we just planted our three apple trees a couple of weeks ago and mulched them. They look pretty happy in their new home. Next year will be peach trees. Planting an orchard on the back acreage in memory of my mother in law. Thank you for the information. Now I am on a mission to find bulbs and put them in. haha.

@@TheRipeTomatoFarms I've got Royal dwarfs Iris, Botanical tulips, Persian pearl tulips, Blue star hyacinth, Blue allium, and bunches or mixes Iris. My wild flowers were awesome this year, but I wanted to add bulbs this year. Hopefully the moles don't like them. Thank you Jeff for all your work you do to provide us with you knowledge. 😊

Yeah, some bangers in there fir sure buddy!!! Can't wait until spring! The wind peaked around midnight....probably 70km/h gusts.....but it was gone by the middle of the night and it took all the clouds with it! Today felt like a balmy September day! Cheers! :-)
