Plant them high they won’t die, plant them low they won’t grow. 😘💐💚🙃 Aaron from Garden Answer said that and it has become my mantra . I have clay soil. BTW. 💐💚🙃 Makes sense especially if your going to be mulching. 💐💚🙃

You've done a great job..👏👏 what I've learnt over the years lavender needs lots of sun, drainage and small amount of water.. I know water has been my problem..but alas I've learnt..happy growing💗🪻🪻

You can hang a small fan from the corner of your pouch and that will help keep the flies away. I blow mine toward my door and it keeps them from coming in my house.

I have a little bed in full sun that I planted up with a row of lavender two seasons ago and they got big! I relocated half of them this year and widened the bed and planted it up so its more informal with lots of old school cottage style plants. Looking forward to seeing how it progresses ❤

OMG, Robbie and Brent .. This look is a wowza and a keeper...the window box plant combo is a stunner and this lavender hedge...am taking notes for next year planting😀... The oxalis rhizomes always remind me of shrimp. 😆 I unsuccesfully attempted to grow a lavendar plant last year, and I'm thinking I should try again after seeing you plant yours. I can't believe yall are already hitting the 100s. I know that's coming for us soon here in Texas so, I'm wishing you the best. P.s. your doggos are super adorable.

Robbie, I think if you put one brick lengthwise along your front walkway on both sides of the path, it would widen your path and look fantastic! I have been doing this in my garden and I love it so much. Love your lavender!!!

Robbie, it looks so GOOD!! ❤ ❤❤ but then you started to describe the hedge idea and I was “YES, do it! Let go, Robbie!” I saw it too how you were describing it and was super excited to imagine a lavender hedge flanking both sides of the walkway. How difficult is it to move a sprinkler system?! Would you have to hire someone to do it? Just daydreaming with you, but wondering possibilities for myself too. Robbie, thank you for recommending Garden Time Pathway mulch. What a game changer for me. I have a lot of area that needs to be mulched which gets quite pricey. I was able to mulch my beds for a third of the cost of what I was doing in the past. Love your channel!

Love your Lavenders! The ones you have are annuals here, so I got a couple of small ones, and my fingers are crossed that somehow, they will over winter (zone 6 here) - I just love that bloom! I love the way you did it & yes, I probably would have to stop at the 5 (budget-wise) but I prefer what you did - love it! & I love all the interactions with Brent and your adorable pups, Sadie & Freya!
