Keep spreading the word on native vs non native gardening, Jenny! As gardeners, we have to lead by example and prioritize planting natives to support our local eco systems. I see too many people using and advocating for non-native, and even invasive plants!

🤣enjoy the warmth as I think this snow is heading east. It makes for a long winter when it falls this late. Rabbits squeezed through fence last year and ate all lettuce and peas. Thank you for showing the foxglove!! I do believe I have them growing but couldn’t tell if it was foxglove or Canterbury bells as I think they look alike. I will take either, but never have had foxglove before and so excited to see them. It seems they grew all winter. It was warmer in winter than the last two weeks. I need a warmer growing climate-sigh…it’s white outside. I’m trying to cheer up about 60s next week 💃👏🏼👏🏼. It seems like forever to get here. WI, Z5a-have garlic under cover, spinach under a clear tote. Everything needs a cover here because nights are too cold. Temps switch too much. Crocuses bloomed and tulips/daffs about 5”.

I love your idea on the pea fence being serpentine. So cute. This year I got a good start on peas. I love sugar snap, so that is all I planted. I pre-sprouted them ( plate method). But they still took 2 weeks to show up. I had a great start on lettuce seedlings, was about to plant them out, and found all of them gone. ( maybe 30 plants). Something ate every single one! The planter was completely empty as if nothing had been growing in it. I am baffled. Also have garlic and onions going. Strawberries are returning. I have baby red russian kale sprouting. Carrots are in, but not showing up yet. Had golden beets under a cloche, but they got eaten by slugs. I think thats it for me. I'm in SW Ohio , zone 6b.

I have had 3 volunteer Butterfly bushes come uo in my yard. They get too big, so I dig them up. About 8 years ago I had one taken out by pros and it just grew new shoots after a year or two!

Love the video! Reminded me I have to get in the garden in between all the rain we're getting here in Maryland. ❤

I have found the apps are often wrong on plant ID. I am not sure what it is but it doesn’t look like butterfly bush to me. Gardens are looking nice. Thanks for the update.

"relax"..."done"? Two words that aren't in the gardener's vocabulary 😂. Loved the video editing for the peas and your curved design. I'm not a vegetable gardener but am trying garlic, potatoes tomatoes and strawberries this year (might've overestimated my abilities lol).

It pretty similar to what is going on here in Oregon. I planted sugar snaps. Going ti wait till they get going. Then plant some more. I like your trellises. Do they support well?

Doesn't look like it... the stem at the ground level is already becoming woody.
