Thanks for posting this video. I just ordered the JD integral sleeve hitch. From your video you mentioned you had to purchase an extended pin. Did you get that from John Deere? or aftermarket from somewhere else? I already have the tiller, so I'm assuming I can use that bar/yoke assembly to connect to the hitch?

Alberta Al I did get the extended pin from JD, however you can find them anywhere....Tractor Supply, Rural King, etc. I just picked it up the same time as I did my yoke. TSC is quite a bit cheaper than JD, we just prefer to support our local small businesses as much as possible. If you have the hydraulic bar to lift the tiller, that same setup will lift your sleeve hitch as well. JD HQ didn't even think it would work, but it did, and I would assume they would use this as a selling point, but they've never taken advantage of it.

Where did you buy your single row planter? Through the John Deere Dealership?

I apologize for the late response, we’ve been away from KZbin for a long time. Actually found a gentleman in Texas that made these on eBay.

Do you have have the John Deere part # for the yoke and extended pin?

I apologize for the late response, we’ve been away from KZbin for a long time. We sold all of our equipment with the property. If I recall, I measured the length for both the planter and the cultivator, and my local dealer had them in stock.

Ive seen the JD71 plantersx where did you get the sleeve hitch bracket?
@West.Property.Management6 жыл бұрын
DanMHCP90 It was made by a local shop. Sleeve hitch itself came from John Deere.

Any idea how strong that power integral hitch is? I'm wondering if it can handle a 150-200 pound aerator?

That would be pushing it. I think if you added another yoke and welded it to the other side it may work. It could pick up my 71 planter, but not very far.

Thanks for the reply- I guess the other question then becomes, is it able to exert ample downward force, negating the need to keep weights on the aerator

Bobby Not very much, you can see how little depth I gained out of the cultivator without weights.
