I blend it with honey, lemon, garlic clove drink it warm 2 to 3cups for a day or two when my tonsils gets infected. Works real well

Forever learning: that worked really well for me last year when I had pneumonia from Covid. Although I couldn’t taste very many things, I could taste that, and had so much garlic in it. Normally I don’t even really like garlic. When I would do the brewing, Pineneedles, the ones with the white at the base of the needle, for the vitamin C went into it, as well as juniper berries to combat the digestive upset, a few cardamom Pads and some whole coriander. It made such a big difference, and if there was a day when I forgot to start drinking it early, there was a huge difference in how well I can breathe by about lunchtime.

Hi, I am growing pinneaple (I'll try growing the suckers from the base of the crown, since they give you a pinneaple in 1,5 years instead of 3 or so). I also have a 1 year old lemon tree and some sweet basil.

I planted a turmeric rhizome last year, it took months to show anything but I love the foliage so it was worth the wait. So tropical!

Husband brought home 3 maggoty looking turmeric rhizomes which I will now pot up and see what happens. Thank hou for a simple and straightforward video, all the others I watched were meandering and quite unhelpful. (I am growing Barbados cotton, sugar cane, and citrus but dunno how to send u photos).

💌I will keep that in mind. Turmeric is not always easy to find at the grocery store so I went to a health food store and bought it in bulk, it last forever. I am growing herbs like basil, aloe vera, mint(sometines). It is giving me a time I should try starting from seeds it will do better than plants from store. Last season tried Rosemary but it didn't come up Time to start over again!🌞

Wow. Nice video. Turmeric is considered as a natural medicine in India. It’s organic . Recently there are various research articles on anti inflammatory properties of Turmeric. We use it all the time in curries. And morning a pinch of turmeric powder, honey in warm water is a great way to detox. In Costco I am seeing dried turmeric packets a lot recently. Try it out. Turmeric milk and honey is also great .

Interesting video there, however would have been helpful if you mentioned when or what season you were trying to grow them; and what to do if we were to grow/plant them during the colder seasons. Turmeric is actually harder to grow than ginger as it requires consistently very hot (27-35 degC) and humid temperatures to thrive as it’s a tropical plant from South East Asia. Its mid-autumn here (temps ranging from 11-21degC) where I am so I’m not sure if it’ll survive the cold snap outside, let alone sprout! 😜😄

. Leave them in the ground. They die back and come back the next spring and those flower.

If I had the choice I would use a standard depth pot... In this video I used a shallow bulb pot... but in the summer the roods will fill this quickly and will dry out super fast. they need space to grow the rhizome so if you are not growing them in the ground give them some extra pot space..
