Hi Ladies! I purchased a Red Emerald Philodendron after I saw the huge one you have, It's about 3 ft. tall the leaves are really large. It was doing really good when I got it. Now that it's winter it's been losing a few leaves. I was told by the man who sold it to me to give it 1 cup of water and let it completely dry out before I water it again. It's growing on a wood stick. This was before you started selling plants or I would've got from you. Any idea why I'm losing leaves? One other question do you sell heat packs to ship with your plànts? Thank you!

Hi Country girl! I don't let mine dry out like that....I water it once a week. I will be selling some BLOW out clearance sales soon...if you start with a large leaf with this guy, you grow a giant much faster....just sayn. My advice, repot, give it fresh soil. Put it in BRIGHT light. Not burn leaves bright, but BRIGHT. It love the light. That said, my momma plant is in such bad lighting. However, she's a queen. HUGE. I guess mature plants can tolerate it better? My dog's tail is whacking her beautiful leaves though an that's a challenge for me! I love my dog, but I also Love my plants hahahaahha.

Buy huge begonias...or get a few grow lights and play a little. You can have a lot of fun with begonias in a grow tent or glass book case. WATER whores, that's what I have learned. If I miss a watering the divas strike back by dropping leaves. They love humidity.

My favorite plant-sista duo!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I absolutely love how you worded the terra-cotta question. You are so busy that you need the extra time between the week for watering. I have to use terra-cotta because I am a heavy waterer, what some refer to as a “helicopter plant parent”. I am constantly walking around my plants adding water to the ones that need it when I get home from work. It’s my “wind down” from the day therapy. I also use miracle-gro cactus, palm & citrus soil. Otherwise without those two things my plants become over watered, I end up with a massive fungus gnat infestation, and my plants die (this is from a year or two of overwatering and killing plants 🤦🏼‍♀️). It’s like you said, it comes down to personal preference. I also live in an incredibly dry state year round, so that tells you how big of a “helicopter plant parent” I am 🤦🏼‍♀️😂🤣.

Hi Plant- sis! I love that you call yourself a helicopter plant parent -- I had that exact reference in the original video but I must have edited it out ! I could use your watering skills around here! HAHAHA! Ahh....the wind down, very important thing to do after work...I might try that method...I need a new plant therapy strategy when I get home from work, especially in this POST work-from-home now where I could multitask between things and take care of my plants....thank you for saying this...even the simplest of things sometimes can make a difference in a work-day. I am going to try this wind-down method .....a section at a time since I have a jungle! I might even post this as a new series and share it here on youtube so I can stay more connected here! Mr. Rojo Has Proven To Be One Of My Plant Survivors Which Resulted In My Purchase Of An Imperial Red. My Question Would Be About The Plant Disease That Devastated Your Mr. Rojo And Whether Enough Time Has Passed For An Update On How He Is Recovering??? Hi EG! Thank you for your comment and question and your continued support here on our channel! I love hearing that you were plant-insipred! I plan on posting another video about my rojo journey where I discuss the diseases and problems in detail. I still have a HUGE rojo that I did not completely chop much at all (I simply could NOT do it .....it was too devastating, and I was holding out hope that there MUST be another cure that doesn't involve chopping...but I had to chop the one that I did because the plant was too far gone by the time I saw the disease). I will post an update this month of my rojo and a more detailed intervention guide about treatment for these kinds of plants. Thank again for watching!

Hi Tara! I’m sorry you’re having trouble finding pots! Sometimes they have extra grow pots that they throw away at big box stores like Lowes and Home Depot…. Can’t hurt to ask since they’d be free! Peace lily is great in just about any window or pot and you can always divide it and make two plants if you can’t find one big pot? …let us know how it goes!🪴❤️🪴❤️

Do you use Jack's fertilizer for your cactus plants?

Hi Debbie, yes I use Jack's on everything. There is an option for watering using fertilizer on a "constant watering" regimen. That's what I do. Thanks for watching and commenting!

@sedavàlos Have you tried Benificial insect's check out a KZbinr Planterior Decorator. I think she talks about some kind of beetle that devoures thrips.

Hi Mary! Taylor has success with it… but sadly I haven’t! I grow big monsters of all kinds but terra cotta has stood in my way. I have had several losses I didn’t mention in the video😞🪴 …love the look of terra cotta though! But, I can’t keep anything alive in it for some reason! But I can grow giants in other vessels! @@plantluxxe thank you crysta and yes I have a real prob with monstera delic. The new leaves start going black At the edges first. I know it’s too little or too much water but I’m good with lots of plants. My house is not very Bright tho so I got grow lights which is a great help. I’m in Ireland. I feed my plants every 12 or 14 days and They have grown a lot so thank you soo much crysta and Taylor . Sorry this txt is all over the place my cats are Lying across my chest 🥰🥰🥰
