I love love love the fact and I haven't come across any other KZbinr who are raising their younger kids on a plant-based diet. If I could go back years I would have done more plant-based meals for my kids. All of your recipes are quick and are simple ingredients. Keep up your creative recipes Nancy from Connecticut

This Lasagna soup is AMAZING! All the carnivores in my family loved it and asked to have it again. Because you mentioned the burn factor…for mine I put the coconut milk in after the instant pot was done and it didn’t burn. Worked perfectly 🎉thanks so much!!

Just wanted you to know that I’ve tried skads of vegan recipes and I throw so many away (haven’t tried any of yours!) . I’ve seen your lasagna soup three times and you always back it up with yum. I tried it tonight and I can honestly say it’s so yummy and I’m sharing it with a family member. Usually no one wants what I eat! Thank you!

When I use Soy Milk instead of coconut I will use some coconut extract to get that flavor👍🏽
@melindaroop134629 күн бұрын
That's a really good idea. I will have to remember that when I make curry. Last time I was getting ingredients to make some, I was really wanting an alternative to coconut milk because of the fat content.

Your lasagna soup is to die for! No matter what. Plant-based or regular person they all absolutely love it! I do put tofu crumbles in mine a few minutes before I serve it

@debbiestevens549024 күн бұрын
@plantwhys I usually squeeze out five packages of tofu and crumble them onto a jelly roll pan with no parchment paper. Bake them for an hour and a half string every 30 minutes. Then just put it in a gallon size bag in the freezer and use them whenever I need

Silk cream & Silicone burn protector. I don't know if you have access, but Silk makes a heavy cream without coconut milk (I think it's country crock that makes one with coconut fat that does not taste like coconut if there are others out there not watching their saturated fat). I've tried both and they work well for everything regular cream is used for. I've whipped it and used it in my coffee. Perfect. My friend has used it in pumpkin pie. It does have big calories like regular cream (not as many by far, just a lot). I've been wanting to tell you about this for quite a while now. Try it and if you like it, use it in one or more of your videos. I'd like to get the word out that there is a vegan cream without coconut milk to those of us who are watching saturated fat content in our diets. PS Silk makes a good half and half, but it's just as good in coffee as your regular plain Silk but it does have sugar, so I stick with the regular. Rice Cooker Burn Protector: I found this on Amazon. It's supposed to also be able to be used in an IPot as it can be used a high temps. I've not used it yet. This is the name I found of one of the pads - Rice Cooker Burnt Proof Silicon Pad M

Ive been told that instead of coconut milk, you can add a tsp of coconut extract with the soy milk.

Yes! That's perfect for Thai dishes where you want the coconut flavor. I didn't want a coconut flavor in these meals.

Coconut milk in lasagna soup? I’m not understanding why you would put it in that but not the lentil curry when curry is traditionally made with full fat coconut milk.
