Why does albumin exert more osmotic pressure than other proteins and why fibrinogen contributes more to viscosity than other proteins. Share your answers below

Albumin is smaller in size. That is why it exerts more osmotic pressure because osmotic pressure depends on the number of particles and albumin being smaller in size and present inside the blood vessel, fits this criteria

Yes correct…smaller size means for same concentration- more number of molecules

Madam!as solvent ( here water )goes from lower concentration to higher concentration (here concentration of plasma proteins especially the albumin because its high in number, which stands for it's high concentration),water goes from tissue fluid to blood vessels (certainly capillaries)

ma'am in guyton it's written that the ratio b/w serum albumin and globumin is usually 1:1... what's the reason
