I'm building a pool now I've reinforced 6inch concrete base 4.5mtr x 3mtr, 1.5 deep I'm also going block on flat tanking slurry then sand cement render I think I'll do the mesh as well I'm not a builder but confident at DIY I'm was going to have a go at using snowcrete and dash in glass beads in the end finish then smooth over sponge finish 🤔💪😁👍

If I was going to do it again I would have rendered the walls with k render its a better product than sand&cemen, but hope your build goes well 👍

Mesh in sand and cement, unless it was called for by the beans counters ,no need to do it
