I just got a good deal on a 2006 M45. Although it has an amazing maintenance record I think it sat through the pandemic and I had to replace the throttle body, air filter, change the valve covers because a oil leak caused a cylinder misfire, and tuned it up and man this thing is a beast. Aside from what I had to fix, my mechanic said the engine is a gem! Also, that’s not a bad price for that undercarriage

I misspoke! I paid a total of $204 with the bolt kit.

@@EdBwoy I checked your link, $204 isn’t a bad price. I had one question, how often should I have the transmission fluid service done? I checked the carfax and the majority of the maintenance was done by Infiniti but nothing on the list shows transmission fluid change service although the transmission shifts very smooth.

Great video like always Eddie. I've had mine installed for about 60k miles. When I first got it, I took it to a machine shop and they were able to make another cut out for the oil filter for really cheap. The back part where you pointed out of having to massage (by the steering rack) does eventually start to bend in and make it harder to re-install over time. The difference in noise is noticeable. I was able to quiet it a little by using the rubber washers similar to the license plate kits they sell to stop the rattle. I mainly purchased it to hopefully protect the oil pan better.

Just ran across this video as I have a replacement plastice one that I need fasterners for. Yet I did look up the aluminum one & they now how the cut out for the oil drain plug & oil filter. The sllver one is $179.99 & the black powder coated is $199.99. The site says that the aluminum weighs 1lb more than the oem plastic one.

I have a z speed aluminum undertray on my 370. Love it better protection and makes oil change easy. Recommend them for any vehicle honestly

Wassup Ed I was wondering if u could do a video on how to fix the driver side mirror. I recently picked up a 12’ m37x tech package and I ended up pushing in my driver mirror in manually because I didn’t notice the power mirror button on my door panel, so now when I press the button my passenger side folds but the driver side doesn’t. Any info On this or a vid would be greatly appreciated. T.M.C 🏁🏁

@@EdBwoy I just tried what you said but it doesn’t move at all as if the motor is broken or something isn’t on track properly. I hear a loud clicking noise when I move it by hand but I folded it in then I tried to use the button to unfold it but nothing happened

A TB undertray was the first thing i bought for my 2013 M56. I am constantly scraping on high speed dips in the road. anyone else have this? I want to lower my car but am afraid of more scraping.

I believe most of their designs hang lower than OEM.

The reason I never bought it is bc the oil filter access restriction. 🤨

That's a very valid reason, I don't blame you. If you have an M45, it's even worse. It hits the oil pan
