Plastic Pointers #8 - Cracked Inground Pool Slide

John repairs an inground pool slide made of ABS using PlastiFix and fiberglass cloth. This repair is DIY friendly. Staples are helpful, but not necessary. A Dremel could be used instead of a die grinder.

Good strong repair Would be quite an expensive repair though As a lot of plastofix was used, particulary on the patch on the rear side I havent used plastofix yet, I have only managed to find one supplier in the UK And it's quite expensive $77.21 in your money , dont want to buy it and it doesnt get used for a while then goes past its shelf life

as long as the liquid bottle is tightly capped, the shelf life is indefinite. Also because of how its used, there is little waste, so the cost is much lower than you'd think per repair, plus the quality of the repair is excellent. This is definitely one of those cases where you get what you pay for, however.

A pool slide is at least $3k, so worth the spend to lengthen the life
