It really is. There's nothing else like it, except maybe gta 5, but that still isn't the same. I still learn new things now about Sims 2 after all these years. You can even invest in the stock market, give financial consulting earning more money from home and get a tan on the beach or sunburn.

What made the sims so fun was it's humor and even though ts3 in some aspects provides a more advanced gameplay experience, it never comes as appealing to me as sims 2. Because in my opinion the franchise started becoming the safe haven for sensitive people right at ts3.

There was also plastic surgery in the sims 3 but you didn’t need to unlock anything you could just go to any hospital and get expensive or cheap face or body modifications I recommend the expensive ones because the chances of it being successful are much much higher
