Great if the plastics are the same. Normally don't work well unless you have shielding gas to minimize oxidation.

Definition; Weld - "cause to combine and form a harmonious or effective whole." Can't understand how creative contentmakers and chinese toolmakers at some point cannot have the thought that thermoplastics very nature is to be melted and fused together 🤔 Just turn up the heat and put a standard weld tip _INTO_ the material. Make a large groove almost through the material tracing the crack and then melt down the risen sides into the groove. Welded coolers, pressurecontainers, braces etc. without adding anything and never had any problems.
