As much as I love Price as the ultimate toast machine, Jas and Aenne's toast cycle dance is a 10/10 too

I'm glad the old music is back. The previous episode felt a little weird with the new PlateUp music 😅

It honestly almost didn’t even feel like PlateUp 😂

Dude after people content-farming this game by being intentionally bad and trolling each other... this is such a breath of fresh air. Even when you start everyone's like "places everyone!". It was a wonderfully choreographed Toast dance.

When I saw the name of the episode I thought the franchise would go kaput immediately, but I’m glad it’s working out pretty well instead!

I mean the name could be about the franchise they scrapped too 😂

Yu-Gi-Oh was capitalising on the popularity of Magic the Gathering. The Yu-Gi-Oh anime came around due to Magic the Gathering considering making an animated show but it falling through. The concept ideas were popular with some animators who pushed for a card game anime and acquired the rights to animate Yu-Gi-Oh.

I was coming to see if there was this kind of comment already or if I needed to make one. Most people don't realize that for as old as Pokemon itself is the card game only came about way later relatively speaking.

@@Quandry1 I'll admit that this is probably a bit of an extreme, but when I started primary school and another kid asked to play cards I thought they had meant Magic the Gathering because I didn't know about any other form of card games. This was influenced by my dad playing very competitive magic at the time of my growing up, it was basically his second job.

When looking at the calendar before I got sad there would be no plate up this week. Now I'm happy to see there will be.

It'd be cool if they could use conveyers to make that little center room the dishwashing central area. Or hell, they could move the cooking operation into the center room and use conveyors to distribute outward. Thus accomplishing Price's dream. If it's with ovens to reduce messes, it might be possible. XD

Okay sure the Yu-gi-oh anime is kind of garbage (and I say that as someone who genuinely loved it in all its ridiculousness) but Yu-gi-oh the Abridged Series is one of the greatest pieces of media on the internet and no one can convince me otherwise. I've watched the Bonds Beyond Time abridged movie more times than I can count, lol. but uuuuh back on topic, thanks for the fun episode everyone! I'm pretty sure I could watch this series forever. :)
