I got my second hole done and it does not hurt at all! it was just a little pinch on the ears. I suggest u get it in the summer because I do cheer and I had to take them out multiple times but they did not close! and if they start to close u just have to put them in there may be blood tho. but when I got my ears done they did not bleed! ;) I hope u made ur mind lol;)
