Her grandfather doesn’t even have to be young. A 25 year old can have a 50 year old father who has a 75 year old father. Dune is (at this interview) 57 years old, so the grandfather could have read it as a 18 year old teen when it came out. Dune is an old book.

Stephen should play Count Fenring. He has a small role, he's the emperor's close friend and a lethal assassin that doesn't seem dangerous at first. He's also a previous attempt of a kwisatz haderach.

Saw it in theaters and I have HBO Max. Completely worth it. I saw Stephen's interview w/ Denis Villeneuve and heard how it was intended to be seen on the big screen and it's not hyperbole. The scale of things in the movie is pretty freaking cool.
