Hey, Matt. jus wanted to say since I"'ve subscribed to Acoustic Selection channel how Awesome a job u r doing . please, let me kno when u r learning to play Long Black Train by Josh Turner. I Hav the CD when I use to sing at churches or churches I got invited to sing at. now I want to learn how to play on my acoustic guitar.
@WJLX3D7 жыл бұрын
As much as I'd love for this to be true. It isn't. You still have an open D string, in your example that isn't changing like the other fretted strings. What you're showing is technically going from D -> D#/D -> E/D and so forth, since your D root/bass note is not changing. Now if you were to capo let's say 1st fret, and play a normal D chord in reference to capo position, you would in fact be playing a D# chord because all fretted/open strings are being raised a half-step. But thanks anyways.
@krypto31667 жыл бұрын
so could you play the normal chords with a loop pedal and then play the d chord over top if you don't have another guitar player?
@AN-vs5pb7 жыл бұрын
interesting! And are these all major chords when played like this?
