so could you play the normal chords with a loop pedal and then play the d chord over top if you don't have another guitar player?

Hey Matt just wanted to touch base I know you’re super busy with your kids and your family and your job and everything. Wondering if you ever heard of this group called deluge it’s DELUGE and they have some really cool praise songs. And just let me know and I’ll I’ll write you back there’s some I’ve been working on guitar for years and I think you could teach it on your website. Thanks John Gaar.

i need to look them up! i've heard those 2 songs you mentioned for sure.
@WJLX3D7 жыл бұрын
As much as I'd love for this to be true. It isn't. You still have an open D string, in your example that isn't changing like the other fretted strings. What you're showing is technically going from D -> D#/D -> E/D and so forth, since your D root/bass note is not changing. Now if you were to capo let's say 1st fret, and play a normal D chord in reference to capo position, you would in fact be playing a D# chord because all fretted/open strings are being raised a half-step. But thanks anyways.
