They toggled over it with their control stick and then went down, it was "highlighted" but not selected. You can tell which one is selected when you click the button on it. They didn't realize they didn't click player 2's box which un-highlights it. To be fair to them it is hard to see when you're complaining about the feature and looking at the controller trying to find something broken than actually selecting the feature until the end. *Facedesks.*

Charge is without a doubt the best gun in the game. It SHREADS bosses; you just have to have unfailing aim and good timing for max DPS. I always use Charge and either Chaser/Spread depending on the boss. Also, the dragon is certainly not the hardest boss in the game. He's tough, but compared to most of the World 3 bosses and King Dice he's not bad at all. I'd say he's about as hard as The Devil.

21:37 yes, they actually did hand draw every single asset/frame for the game; Plus, all of the sound effects and music are all original audio they created as well. It was only a handful of people working on the game too, which is what makes it even more impressive.

who knows Mm, I actually find them to be just as funny today if not more. I think a lot of the earlier years are found funnier due to romanticized nostalgia (that, and many of them usually don't give a lot of new videos a chance). Sometimes I go back to watch old videos, and they're really not the same. Still, to this day I still find them extremely entertaining.

I think I know what happened, one of you can tell me I'm right or not. The controls aren't mapped to Cuphead(Player 1) or Mugman(Player 2) but rather the controllers. This might not sound like much of a difference but it's dependent on the order the controllers turned on/connected. If Gavin turned his on first, the game and system could have seen his as player 1. That's my guess. It happens often up at places I go to with fighting games being swapped in and out

MerlinCross So basically, from what I can tell, there were 3 things causing them problems. 1) player 1 and player 2 controls can only be changed by the controller that is using them, 2) they have to press the the player 1 and player 2 tabs to change the controls for each player, and 3) player 1 is selected by default when you enter the controls menu. At first, Michael tried to change the controls of both players using his controller, but Gavin was the one who had to change player 2 using his controller. Then, Gavin went into the controls and didn't realize the player 1 tab was selected (he went over the player 2 tab, but didn't actually press it). Then, they kept on going through the player 1 and 2 tabs and mapped it by sheer luck.
