Play PS2 Games with Mouse & Keyboard in PCSX2 1.7 Qt using Mouse Injector

It happened to me that I couldn't make it work in any way with BLACK, previously I was doing the following: Open the emulator > Open the injector > Activate the injector > Running the game, this process didn't work (activating the injector after the game has boot didn't work either btw). What I did was to disabled "fast boot" on the emulator and let it to display the whole bios booting, then when it shows the "PlayStation 2" logo just in that moment I activate the injector with 4 key number, when the PS2 logo disappears the injector will finally detect the game.

@@bmqww223 I think it's due to the ink on paper and fan devs get very easily scared whenever they get some text from t2 or r* to stop with rebirthing their previous games that they don't sell anymore so far the closest to vcs on pc is an adaptation done by Andrey popov while for lcs someone's been tinkering with RE LCS latest build where you can in fact play start to end but no graphical overhauls work I tried vc enbs but it either crashed or visuals were unplayable also unless you were to have a reshade preset that could help with reflections that don't need an rtx card which could be another way to fan remaster lcs and vcs by pc port or adapted emulation

I ran into an issue for armored core 2 where it suddenly won't work? I haven't made any changes to my pc at all since this morning and now when I press 4 while the game and injector are open it won't work

It can sometimes do weird things. Just keep trying and even trying running it as Admin.

Experiencing the same issue as others have mention, ''No game loaded''. The mouse injector program is a hit and miss. Sometimes it detects the game. Sometimes it does not, however it detects the PCSX2 program being opened and running. This is very frustrating. It is a good program plagued by instability issues.

I have had problems with one or 2 games but mostly of them do work. Sometimes it could the that that game has more that one dump.

Sometimes some games can have 2 versions and the mouse injector happens to be made for one version of the game and may not be compatible with the other version.@@BravoSixGoingDark

You can also try starting Mouse Injector with "Run as Administrator" when it doesn't detect pcsx2. I have had success with that before.@@BravoSixGoingDark

@@geniusbugshow Thanks I will try these tips. If all else fails, I will just have to go back to re-enabling the Mouse/Pointer Source or Enable Mouse Mapping in PCSX2 Controller Settings/ Global Settings, the mouse sensitivity in that option is not that good but playable. Oh well... 😅

This used to work for me and I could use it fine but after not using it for a while I came back to it and somehow its not working anymore. I've tried running multiple compatible games with no luck. The injector just doesnt detect any of the games I run. Bios is SCPH-70012 so that shouldnt be the problem. I have tried running both programs as admin with no luck on that either. Any suggestions?

@@JaggedMercenary You can use the mouse to control the analog stick of a game but with the mouse injector feels like your playing a PC game. It's way better.

What game are you trying to run? You could try running bot programs "Run as administrator" See if it helps.

It's the version of the ps2 model bios. If you look at the back of your ps2 there's a model number in there. Mine is SCPH-90004.

Make sure is the correct version of the game, You might be playing the EU version instead of the USA version, Black works only for the USA version

There should be an option "[5] Mouse Sensitivity". Try messing with that and see if it helps.

Don't know how to check them from downloaded bios since I use my owned dumped bios, but I assume that v02.00 (you can check this number in the pcsx2 bios settings) and up should work @@BravoSixGoingDark

Is the Mouse Injector at least detecting the Emulator? Do you have the latest releases? Also try opening the programs with "Run as Administrator."

Have you tried pressing the "4" key on your keyboard after loading a game even if it says it's not detecting? That's usually how it goes with pcsx2
