Play Your Cards Right | TerraScape (Deck Building City Builder - Early Access)

TerraScape is a gorgeous deck building city builder game where we create a lovely city by placing down buildings that we've drawn from specific decks of cards.
The farming deck contains fields and windmills, the fishing deck contains shipwrights and fishing boats, the village deck contains cottages and village squares, that sort of thing.
However we have to earn points to unlock access to more decks and we earn points by putting down buildings in good places. Fisheries are good by the sea, lumberjacks good by forests, that sort of thing. Plus we get extra points if we meet other conditions, so windmills get more points if they're next to fields, markets are boosted by nearby towns.
There are also special 'fusion' buildings where we can create entirely new big structures, such as longhouses, by putting other buildings onto the map in a specific layout.
Oh and also the game is gorgeous, so that's nice too.

In TerraScape you build your own dream city. Each pack of cards in TerraScape offers different buildings and ways to expand your city. Place your cards wisely in the game world to earn points and receive new cards as rewards. Turn by turn, round by round, you skillfully build and grow your city.
The game offers several game modes, procedural maps, and exciting challenges. In Early Access, TerraScape will be expanded with more decks, maps, and game modes in the future.
Each building has different influences, be it other buildings, natural resources, or the right terrain. Earn bonus points by collecting as many positive influences as possible, but beware: there are also negative influences!
By collecting points, you unlock new decks and buildings. Each deck consists of several building cards. Specialize by placing buildings of certain decks more often and cleverly, and thereby unlock more decks.
If you place your buildings well, you can draw new cards. But always keep an eye on your strategy and plan which cards you really need. Otherwise, you may draw buildings that are not useful for your current planning.
The unique map generator creates new maps with endless possibilities! Also, play handcrafted missions with increasing difficulty and show your friends and the world that you are the best player in the high score list.
Let yourself be captivated by the unique graphic style and lovingly designed landscapes. You set the pace, so sit back and enjoy the view.

That's true but in terms of how the game works, we've got the points from the hunter so we can then build over the deer because we don't need them any more! Unless we get more hunter cards...

stop making hour long videos! Make your videos short and subdivide by topic. When people want to find a simple question to the game, and google search results only show hour plus videos, we get really angry. The community of gamers who should be helping answer questions of a game just get it in their heads to make these long videos that are just slop.

I see your point, to a degree, but that's not going to happen I'm afraid. I play the games, I enjoy them, have a bit of fun and hopefully entertain people. If that takes an hour then it takes an hour! As I see it there are different types of gaming KZbinrs. There are classic let's play type channels where they just play a game as it is (like the Geek Cupboard), there are the showpiece type channels who make very highly edited videos on a single topic (like Spiffing Brit) and there are channels who do tutorial type videos on a game (like Biffa). Also I have to disagree with your "The community of gamers who should be helping answer questions" observation. Should? Why should we? I'm not obligated to help answer questions, I'm playing a game and enjoying it, I don't set out to answer questions! It's ok if this channel isn't for you, there are so many others out there, keep searching and you'll find the one you're after!
