I know that the 1980 version was a huge flop, BUT I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THE 2012 VERSION! I wish it stayed off Broadway longer and more people appreciated it.

Seen it five times from five different seats and it was better and better each time! Emily Lopez as Carrie, Misty Cotton as the mother and Valerie Rose Curiel as Chris.

Please bring it back one of my favs- of all time... And I've seen Wicked, Dear Evan Hansen, Lion King, Waitress, Hamilton... All of them. This one in that tiny theater in Down Town L.A. is something I still talk and think about today.

I feel like the singing voice of the actress playing Carrie sounds too mature for the character... it sounds like a 35 year old not a 16/17 year old.

A big difference with this production compared to others was that it was styled with the audience surrounding the performers. So, they were going for a more intimate experience
