Sjin v Pflax: Flax with the upper hand with the surprise attack (although what else to expect its Pflax) but when sjin gets his legionaries up and running I think sjin should win hands down (Legionaries are the best melee class unit of their era) Lewis v Ben: Ben with a massive upper hand with multiple grass hills, better cities and Hopelites but you can rarely count out Big Brindley...this is exciting! Something most people do not seem to realize is that several changes to how the game functions dramatically changes the weight of actions. For me there was never an issue with War Weariness other than the downtick on it being a little on the slow side.

Hope this game shows all the cry babies why war weariness is necessary. Sjin is right, you can't just turn Civ into an RTS. Wars in Civ 6 are all about strategy not just grind fests. Plan your attack and have an objective other than just "I'm going to kill that Civ" take a city or two and go for peace. If they don't, hit them harder until they do and only take the 1 or 2 cities you had planned for in negotiations. Then sit back, rebuild, make more plans and contingencies for other victory types. Once the weariness has gone, maybe make anouther attack.

Lets be honest, Ben is just asking for war... The amount of land he had to settle above him, and his decision to quick expand into Lewis is blatantly hostile and will likely escalate into a conflict. One that I predict Duncan will get involved in - likely on Ben's side - because Lewis was forced to expand down towards him, causing another land-based conflict. Not saying its a bad thing, just a prediction - war is part of the game.

Tom is well known for starting wars in the five Civ V games he's played - he was literally nicknamed "Tom the Terrible" for sending so many units to their death in the Orange Wars. Both Tom and Pyrion are known to usually ally/not attack Lewis so that they can opportunistically wage war on others. He's only not played Civ 6 and it's not that different from Civ V.

Considering Pyrion's abysmal play, Sjin is going to win this with only minimal difficulty. Pyrion didn't bring any siege units (as expected) and won't be able to take Antium any time soon. Sjin would have assembled his legionaries by then and will repel Pyrion and go from defense to offense.

Let's face it: Tom, Pyrion, and Ben are going to be the winners in these wars. Tom will probably cripple Duncan but not know what he's doing and lose miserably. Meanwhile Lewis and Sjin will either manage to survive, or be crippled to the point of war slavery (like Caff and Duncan last game) In my opinion, the game won't be very interesting if 3 of the players are taken out instantly, so I hope Sjin and Lewis survive the attacks.

It was still Civ though and Sid Meier instead created Alpha Centauri (because he didn't have the rights to the Civ name at that time) and Alpha Centauri was hands down the best civilization game ever made. Better than any of the older or newer ones. I already have it but I'd buy it instantly if they were to remake it or make it run on modern PCs without changing the core gameplay. Maybe that showed people not to mess with Sid Meier in terms of Civ games. =3

Elijah Benjamin Last game was an exception because he realised it too late. He was arrogant and thought that he had it in the pocket taking out one player after another. Then when it got to the point where he realised that Sjin was perhaps going to win, it was just him and Sjin left in the game(perhaps Rythain too but what are musketmen gonna do vs tanks).
