Maybe not the best - as the microphone is just in front of the Fender - and a completely different angle with the Yamaha. Stupid ;)

Thank you for such a thoughtful video. I plan to try some of your EQ tips to my solid state amps to improve the tone (Katana, Nextone, Mustang iii v2) I am considering an older Yamaha, but the 100's are so heavy. The big deal with Red Knob Twin is the Center Right " Parallel" channel input. Feeds both left clean and right High Gain channels at same time. Can dial in a punchy clean with just a bit of hair . I own this amp and Steve Cropper and Robben Ford have rented it

Didnt Yamaha makea G100 212, (215ii?) with a 15 inch speaker. Im guessing you would get that warm bassiness as the Fender Twin with a 15 inch speaker.? They also made a 4x10 wow id love to hear that one.

I have yamaha g100 212 and use compression pedal just to get tube amp like response... So i guess i am not only one doing that :)

Try this! I always have my g100s parametric eq level at -5, Q all the way to the left and the frequency at a rough 600 hz And it sounds exactly the same as my 75 fender twin
