A few good players that deserve mention in my opinion: Merton Hanks: Tim McDonald who they mention was good in San Francisco, but when I watch clips of the 90’s Niners on defense, I don’t see it thrown to Hanks’ side of the field very much. Made four all pro teams in the mid 90’s. Marques Colston: One of the best skill position players in recent decades to not make a pro bowl. Diron Talbert: According to unofficial sack stats, he has more sacks in his best eight seasons combined than Merlin Olsen and almost as many as Bob Lilly in his eight best seasons. Fred Dryer: Became an actor after playing of course, but also was a pretty good pass rusher. Had 103 sacks unofficially for the Giants and Rams, including 15 in a second team all pro season in 1974. Keith Lincoln and Paul Lowe: One of the great backfield tandems of the 1960’s. In particular on the AFL side.

Everson Walls may not be as widely remembered as some other NFL legends, but his contributions to the game and his impressive career certainly deserve recognition. Being undrafted from Grambling State didn’t stop him from being a great player in the league. His Super Bowl win with the New York Giants is another highlight that shouldn't be overlooked🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
