If I ever walked into a home game and saw Mariano sitting at the table I am turning around and getting back in my car. Fearless, and a mastery of the game few have. Nice work.
@patrickplayspokerbadly62302 жыл бұрын
Pffft...not me! I am hoping he will allow me to sit behind him and "rail sweat" him all night while " shining his shoes" and hope he takes care of me at the end (Probably only OG casino players will understand the quotation mark labels" :) "Rail Sweat" = not playing and just rooting for a player, a tactic developed by many rail birds "Shine Shoes" = what we called it when you sit/stand behind someone for long periods hoping they will toss you some chips if they are winning...you do things like go get them coffee, etc, another tactic developed by Rail Birds If you don't know what a Rail Bird is, you have not spent enough time in a live casino yet :)

Usually I’m totally agree w your moves and pretty impressed by some bluffs or some calls. 2 hands I’m disagree though QJ : when was the last time you saw a vilain raising a bet on the river in bluff. Maybe you but not often… and by others not a lot neither. So bet fold by you would makes more sense and it’s a better move than check/call. Anyway I wouldn’t have bet/call on this river. 66 : why nor just calling the bet on the river instead of rising. I don’t see any hands worst than yours calling…. Anyway great plays , Im learning bluffing art from you

@FrenzyPoker2 жыл бұрын
Nice to find a home game that plays that big and is safe, especially that you are around people you know. 11:40 with 66 i like your river play to jam it in and not leave any value behind. From the start of the hand I like the flop 3 bet, you can rep all combos of sets, straights, and some 2 pair that can put pressure on over pairs. Interesting turn 1/4 donk bet from SB after facing a flop 3 bet. Its a probe bet with over pairs, A high overs or a pure bluff most of the time. Easy flat IP, reevaluate river. Bink the 9 and SB bets half pot, great shove, get value from TT- AA. Unlucky if you get snapped off by 88, 77, 55 or JT which are unlikely. Massive pot last hand wow. It must of been KJ vs J8, AQ with the A of diamonds, Q9, or AA with the mid raise from the butn. Live ranges and sizings are all over the heat map so its hard to tell. GG NH, what a way to end the night! Good luck in the coming sessions and keep up the fantastic content.

Hey Mariano, been a big fan for a long time. I think it'd be cool if you could put the bet sizings in text overlaying the video. Sometimes I like to listen to music when I watch/rewatch vlogs to see what I would do and having the opponents bet sizings visible rather having to listen to it verbally would help. I share some of your sentiments on home games. I have a couple of rules about them. I don't play in them if they charge a rake and I don’t play in them if the stakes are higher than $1/$3 blinds. I feel like the chances of the game getting robbed really go up when then blinds hit $2/$5. A $2/$5 game near where I live (near Nashville) was robbed at gunpoint several years ago.
