I always love how these paper tcg videos look they have fantastic production quality and are incredibly informative for someone like me that wants to go from collecting to playing. This Zoroark deck looks absolutely incredible at least I love how it plays. One question though, what is the camera setup like? The audio setup I assume is the headset but I'm curious about how you get the top down view. Is there a special type of camera stand?

@27:01 there is actually one small reason to hold off on evolving to VSTAR in this format in decks that run Diancie ASR (like yours!) as its Princess’s Curtain ability only protects the Basic V from gust. But other than that, yeah, it’s pretty silly

Arceus Inteleon almost feels wrong. Two of the best engines in the game...and nothing but fueling themselves. So ridiculous, but also kinda feels..soulless? Props on an amazing deck, but not sure how it sits with me. Hisuian Zoroark and Gengar, though, oooooh boy does that deck look fun and fantastic! Bunch of ghost types, damage manipulation, lots of draw and graveyard recursion. Love it!

It's not supposed to be a valid deck for very long since we're supposed to have rotation happen in the fall, but with the delay in rotation many decks are going to have too much synergy and be somewhat broken for a while.

Arceus Vstar’s greatest weakness is its damage ceiling. It hits 230 max with belt, just short of OHKOing vstars, while Palkia, Mew (with power tablet) and the new Giratina can all reliably attempt OHKOs in a single turn.

Love how zoroark is a colorless pokemon. Take advantage of different typings and playstyles I might try a magma basin variant seeing how it would synergize with moltres and radiant charizard

Started off purely collecting Pokemon cards at first, then watched the NAIC finals because I was bored and now I'm super invested into learning how to play the PTCG! 😂 used to play Yugioh but now I find PTCG way more fun and engaging and not to mention, just nicer to admire at too! It's faithful how the attack is Zoroark GX with an extra step; instead of just having Pokemon in play, now they must also have damage counters.

Dragon shield black are my go to. If you are finding grime on your dragon shields quickly it’s because of humidity or sweaty palms

If you're talking about the new Blastoise that can accelerate 6 energies, I personally don't it's very good. Not only is it a stage 2, meaning it needs a lot of help getting set up, but it forces you to lose a turn when you proc it's ability, which is not ideal. Given that you need 2 turns to set it up minimum (this is assuming you're playing rare candy to skip an evolution), being set back an additional turn means you're not going to be attacking until your third turn at best, which is simply too slow for the current format

Where are you getting 230 and 280 damage from its 50x each of your Pokémon with damage counters on it so when you had 5 Pokémon with damage you were swinging for 250 not 230. Same with when you had 6 Pokémon with damage it was 300 not 280. Am I missing something?
