That's exactly what I thought. I'm thinking about trying to track the dev down and get the rights to develop it. This concept seems like it could be a fun arcade-like game, and I found myself thinking the criticisms were a bit too harsh. If given proper educated development time, I think this could work.

As a swede, i can tell you that the ½ button is actually a standard button on Scandinavian keyboards, located the left of the 1 key, replacing the tidle (~) key and moving said key to a different button Additionally, as for the bugs and how the dev didnt find them while testing; if they did test it, i suspect they forgot the golden rule of game development, "never assume a player will play as intended"

@@Graeldon I have a Danish keyboard and the ½ button is standard on all DK Keyboard layouts. It takes the space of the ~ key commonly found on International and US keyboards or the ` key on UK keyboards. Meaning the top row in order (excluding the F1/ESC row) is: ½, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc. Hope that clears it up!

It's kinda sad looking at a youtuber making fun of someone's first game. Sure it's buggy and looks like garbage, but at least it has passion. Dude sometimes your nit picking some stuff like "basic human" that is not the name, it's the role. Sure you don't play as a cyborg, sure that the story does not coralline with the gameplay, sure you don't kill zombies much, but your just tearing down a small game for a small price. I understand that the game has some garbage in it, (pun intended) but at least acknowledge that it's just a guy's first game and from the gameplay of the steam page it looks garbage so you should have known it was going to look like that in the first place.

Firstly, Hi! Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! When creating this video, I knew it was their first game they created (or at least uploaded to Steam), and I wouldn't mind so much if the game positioned itself as such, but it doesn't. I also didn't seek this game out specifically to review it - I'm playing through the steam store in order, which means that every game, good or bad, will be reviewed. I understand that everyone needs to start somewhere, so I do aim to give constructive criticism where possible, but the reality is that sometimes people overlook the absolute basics and get so wrapped up in what they think their project should be, that they can no longer see it for what it is. I believe this is one such example. PS the dev has made 3 other games of what appear to be very similar quality.

@@Graeldon Hello! Yeah, I know about the quality in his other game, in my opinion, I think it's great. I like the style it reminds me of games like Postal, 77p Eggwife, and Creulity Squad. Except that the dev's game has buggy steroids. I get that the cyborg part is garbage in a garbage game because this game is about garbage and not cyborg. I kinda like the bait-and-switch I think that's what the game is really saying about itself. Now please know I am a guy who likes putting Ultrakill into the most garbage filter ever and can't see anything. I think I have a taste in those types of games like Postal 3, before the Zoom platform fixed it, it was a broken mess but it still appeals to me. Thank you for responding!
