All the animated scenes were originally made for the updated PS1 version of the game, and every version after. For those who only played the SNES version had to go to youtube to enjoy them. RIP TO TORIYAMA, creator of Dragon Ball and the Chrono Trigger character designs 😢

The problem with the PS1 version of the game is the gosh darn loading times. SNES had a much easier time with it due to asset loading etc being 5-10 times faster than the PS consoles due to disk speeds. I prefered the "style" of PS1 a lot better but the loading killed it for me :(

@@RetroGamingSweden I think the Nintendo DS version has the best of both versions. The cut scenes from the PS1 with the load times similar to the SNES.

My favorite game of all time. I remember sitting around with my friends playing it on SNES while blasting the sountrack to the original Mortal Kombat movie. ...I am old.

- grabbed the pendant before checking on Marle - ate the old man's lunch - may not have taken the lost cat back to the little girl - may have pulled Marle away from the candy booth The verdict is... GUILTY! 😂 FYI the verdict at the trial doesn't affect the outcome outside some very minor dialogue changes. If you're found innocent, you are still imprisoned for a minor offense, and the chancellor will lie to the jailor and tell him you were found guilty.

The Biggs and Wedge references are actually Star Wars references. Which were encorporated into the english translation for Final Fantasy 3 (Or FF6 in Japaan)

@@lunitygaming Biggs is one of Lukes friends that found his way to the rebellion before Luke did. Wedge is another X-Wing Pilot and they both flew with Luke against the first death Star. Biggs died covering Luke on his Death Star run. Wedge made apparences at both Battle of Hoth and Battle of Endor, and went on to lead Rogue Squadron after Luke retired from Squadron duty to focus more on Jedi stuff. In Legends cannot there are close to a dozen books on Rogue Squadrons operations Post Battle of Endor, he's also in many legends and Disney canon Novels and he made an appearance in Rise of Skywalker at the end during "the more of us then there is of them" moment.

@@lunitygaming Oh....also the english translation for FF3, and Chrono Trigger was done by the same man. Ted Woolsey who was obviously a Star Wars fan. He is really famous for taking liberties in the translation that aren't technically true to the language of the Japanese version but are extremely memorable to those in the US that played those US SNES versions for the first time. He also did translations for Super Mario RPG, Secret of Mana, and Breath of Fire.
