Love to see this old game still gets love. Keep it up, would like to see more. As an advice, look around more. Most of the story and shortcuts tell you what to do. Also u often find items in places where they are relevant and/or give urself an advantage. Don't spoil urself with guides, it ruins the first time playing really hard.

I wanna play it again so bad right now. But im low-key still angry because I had to like 1200 hours in this one character I finished the game endless times and I had everything I wanted but then this one day my game didn't safe correctly and I lost everything. The point of the story is no matter how the game will find a way to give you anger issues 😂

1 big tip for new players, DONT use lock on for bosses. It locks your dodge roll to 4 directions making it really clunky. Other than that ds1 (for me) has the best world and lore with some of the best moments in Fromsofts games. Hope you enjoy it :)

As someone that's played all of the souls games, ds1 kinda sucks, any of the other games are better, but i have to recommend ds2 because like bloodborne it has a ton of features seen never before and never again.

I'm sorry but I strongly have to disagree. Like yes the other souls games have some better game play. But Ds1 just has something amazing to it. Maybe its just me being weird but I think Ds1 is one of the Greatest games to ever exist

@Looney123 i recommend you grind a bit in ds2 before you tackle the later bosses because of ADP, a stat unique to ds2. ADP literally let's you level your swing speed and your immunity frames, but since it's a stat you start out with low I-frames, but you can level it till you get light load I-frames while medium loaded.
