The first year was definitely the worst. Just don’t give up and practice as much as you can in the first 6 months.

Thanks Michael, between you and me - I'm in the process of finding a better fiddle to rent as I have well and truly outgrown my abomination of a rig. I was $100 online... 4 years ago.
