There's a lot of mechanics in Old Terraria that kinda deserves to be packaged together as a set of survival mods - stuff like only being able to destroy Ebonstone by purifying it first and the magic mirror using mana makes more lore-sense at the cost of frustrating gameplay.

The night's edge was so underwhelming for so long imo because the parts that made up the sword had unique effects while it dealt like 3 base damage more than the molten greatsword. Like how does it trade a poison effect, fire effect, and high attack speed for slightly increased damage with no other effect

I'm 5 minutes in and not sure if you mentioned it but I wanted to tell that jungle items seem "unbalanced" nowadays (like, you can craft the Blade of Grass relatively early on before fighting bosses so there's no point for using the Light's Bane), but it makes sense when you realize... the Jungle was underground-only and hidden on release so you had to mine to find it (!!!)

Left and right, up and down buttons for interfaces are so dated... cough, Terraria resource pack arrows, let me drag them up and down! 😭 Honestly, no cloud under sky island has a neat look to current-day sky islands. Wyeeett creature feature! 🤯 All the swords into Terrablade (unless I am wrong) edit and sound effects is kinda fire. I will patiently await the next 13 months for next upload!

The Orb of Light is also much, much stronger than the Shadow Orb so its too bad you didnt use it. Its the same strength as end game light pets in the modern game.

@@COLTcolossal You probably used it and then forgot to re-use it when you re-logged one time, since there is no light pet slot and you have to manually activate it every time. Also its not in your inventory at 6:45. Seems you were carrying it when you died though since you dropped it. Edit: nope you cant have used it, it costs 40 mana to summon and you didnt use any mana stars on either run
