I was just thinking the same thing. Only one person was there the whole time, but I got the feeling he was maybe waiting for someone that was in the store behind him, because it didn't look like he was paying much attention to the music. I could be wrong, though. Hopefully he enjoyed it, at least. I sure did. I would have stopped and listened/watched, as Kansas is my favorite classic rock band.

Granted, no one stopped, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t appreciated. Just because we couldn’t see the smiles of the people rushing by doesn’t mean they weren’t there. Playing, not applause, is what gives him joy. The applause is just a bonus
