Mike Tyson's tweet was about Punch Out coming to NSO. If you don't know, it was Punch Out featuring Mr. Dream, which is Mike Tyson's Punch Out but he was replaced with Mr. Dream who's the same but white. They did this because the contract expired I think its weird because that was released three years later in 1990. So from then to 2019 he never knew about it, the arcade games, Super Punch Out, or Punch Out Wii.

finally poof is playing one of my fav games!! some tips, if you ever read this: - you need to hit king hippo before he punches, when his mouth is open. then he will be wide open to hit !! - you also need to duck when he does his full hand clap. simply press down in time to duck ! - to punch up you just need to hold up on the dpad/analog stick and then swing - this game doesn’t have to be played with motion controls, it can also be played with just the wii mote on its side ! love ur vids poof!! hope this helps !

Poof, just wanted to let you know that you can switch the controls to play as if you were using an NES controller! Also: - he has a bunch of health but you only have to knock King Hippo once in order to win. You were THIS close to winning had you not quit 💀 - He's not the last boss, either! There's two more circuits that come after minor circuit. - as Doc said, the way you dodge matters. Punch Out is a game that's all about timing and memorization, and for some attacks, you need to either dodge one way or the other or duck. You can also punch them during certain animations to interrupt them and possibly get stars to do star punches with, which chip away at a lot of their health. It'd be cool if you gave this game a chance again, because it is rewarding as hell once you know its ins and outs. EDIT: ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING. In between rounds you can press minus to get health from Doc eating a chocolate bar. You can do this once per match.

Poof, you can beat King Hippo. You only have to knock him down 1 time to win. You got so close to getting him to zero health. When he did his slam attack, you have to wait until he actually opens his mouth. You were going too fast. And after you beat him, the game doesn’t just end, there are still a lot of fights after him. 1. you don’t have to use the nunchuck 2. if you use the lunch buttons/motion while your opponent is on the ground you will regain health 3. when the opponents have a special move like disco kid smiling von kaiser saying mommy or king hippo pulling up his pants you can punch them and that will result into getting a star punch which can be used by hitting A you can stack them preferably for a triple star punch which can instantly TKO then but that’s harder but a star punch does more damage

Came in to give a few tips, you can shake the wii remote and nunchuck to heal while the opponent is down. In between rounds, you can press minus to heal (it's a one-time use, though.) With King Hippo, you just punch him in the mouth when it's open. If you press minus as you go down and hear a heartbeat, you'll have one last chance to get your opponent down. Where the video ends isn't the end of the game, there are two more circuts (the last one having five boxers,) and then you fight the rest of the boxers again with new moves/mechanics/pace. If the opponent flashes yellow, you can hit him to receive a star, you press a and swing the wii remote to use those (if you go for the motion control style, you can also play it with a sideways controller, and if you want to bring out your inner masochist you can also use the wii fit balance board to dodge.) I know it's probably unlikely you'll see this, but hey if you do, you're welcome.

some initial quality of life things for punch out my dad taught me (he was legendary on this when it came out and still is): You don’t need to have a nunchuck for this game, in fact it plays better on just the wii-mote. When characters glow yellow like that, it’s a star opportunity, (all you have to do is punch them while they’re glowing) you can gain up to 3 stars and use a star punch which will inflict heavy damage. Iirc you just push A and you break pretty much any block. However as the game progresses the characters will learn to dodge these so i recommend using them when you got them stunned. Also when just using the wiimote you would hold up on the d-pad while holding it sideways (so right on the dpad when holding it vertically) just look through the controls at least once poof. Please for your sanity. I want to see you beat this and do title defense. It’s genuinely very fun

this is one of my favorite games of all time, heres some tips - playing without a nunchuck is WAY easier. plug it out and turn your wiimote sideways. - some attacks make you wait before counterattacking, don't be afraid to experiment with timing. - as you go further into the game, it matters A LOT which direction you dodge and punch - after a round, you can press minus to have doc (your coach) eat his chocolate once a game. this will restore some health. - holding up without punching makes you block. its useful occasionally, and some fights make you use this.

Mr. Poof just because you started playing now you need to finish the game, you’ve gotta beat king hippo then go to the next circuit which is the major circuit and then beat that then go to the final circuit and win, you will then unlock “title defense” mode which is everyone you beat in the past circuits with enhanced move sets and beat them to defend your title successfully and if you lose to one your title is given away but I know you won’t let that happen so just do what you do in wii sports pause and restart
