Since you wanted a suggestion for part 3 - do a reverse of the Century of Humiliation. Take treaty ports in the major European powers, break them apart, and in general just muck up Europe and make it pain for them. That's really the only thing I can think to do besides more of the same.

One of the new missions added for the emperor of China allows you to either spawn or passively generate the printing press actually! I just think it’s pretty late in the tree so it’s usually already been developed by the player at that point unless you rush the mission

In Years of Rice and Salt (alt-history novel by Kim Stanley Robinson) Qing colonizes all of the pacific and the pacific coast of the Americas and then has a 100-year war in India. Could try doing that.

I would say you got two choices for an end game goal. One is lore/flavour, dominate the silk road all the way as far west as you can go. Or you can use your colonial empire as an excuse to just steal the end trade nodes. Flex that power. Revenge for the Opium wars that never happened in a few hundred years time from now! (ingame)

a good way to deal with government capacity issues is grabbing the gov reform that makes centralizing land refund 50% of the cost, and with tributaries being quite power that they can give you tons of mana (especially admin if you have enough of 'em. meaning even artificial tributaries like opms client states that were made independant are super helpful) you can repeatingly centralize land until you cant do it any further, which is I think 5 times. makes provinces incredibly cheap and paired with other gov capacity reductions. almost free in most cases. or so cheap its barely a dent.

working toward that likegoal, my recommendation for part three: You've already got a colonial empire, which is basically the trade path, so I say take indochina and indonesia, especially malacca, 100% the trade there and just go for maximum cash. You're probably not going to get an end node, so just keep filtering everything east from the americas and east asia and find the spot where you can 100% the node and collect it all.

Just for the fun of it if you do play another session why not see what’s the biggest war you can get yourself into and win, see if you can get a you vs the world war going on, up to you thought cause it would probs be a lot of work setting up a fort line to stop the ai horde and I would advice setting the navel block aid building in all your coasts to slow down any landings. If not you could see if the league war is starting and join that for fun

You definitely should take any trade income from Europeans in part 3 without "intervening" on Europe itself. Collect all trade from India in Kilwa node, Middle East etc. Make China Universalis and make Europe isolated as much as possible.
