For people who still need help then here’s what gets me to floor 30 every time. The upgrades I tend to grab are pierce, Main range, ATK speed up, and special charge up. If using brush, roller, or brella then I sometimes get some hinderance, sticky ink, and the upgrade that refills ink when an enemy dies. I don’t use a vending machine unless I have 3k or more points. Booyah Bomb, Triple Splashdown, and Tri Ink Strike are the specials I grab as they’re really good when paired with special charge up If you want. Max lucky chain, swim speed, and the upgrade that increases speed when rolling/brushing are also good

Here's a recommendation: use pearls set! DO NOT replace the sub weapon at all and keep the reef slider it helps clearing through enemies faster, use the curling bomb to avoid the reef slider attacks! That's all of the tips I can give you! Good luck my friend ^^

You'll get there! Just be sure to spend your pearls on useful hacks that improve your survival odds. Some runs are luckier than others, so your time will come!

Definitely gotta save up! If you have a Switch and Splatoon 3, this is a MUST! Side order is better than Octo Expansion, and that's saying a LOT!

I honestly don’t mean to be a pain, but why doesn’t Vic fill their ink tank all the way before shooting again? They kind of just dip back in for 2 seconds and then start shooting again. I legit don’t mean to be rude, I’m genuinely curious, please don’t hate me.

I don’t think you’re rude to ask that!! :0 in fact, let me try to help you enter my headspace!! :3 A good example of me doing a lot of the quick refills is the rondo fight about 2 and a half hours in on my Dualie run😈 I prefer to be constantly on the move, it’s more or less habit picked up over playing the game a long time and not wanting to get caught in a position for too long. In competitive Splatoon especially the notion of constantly putting down turf is so so heavily stressed that it isn’t something I easily turn off, even though I know side order doesn’t have the threat of real people watching me LOLOLOL Oh oh! Also there’s a tech I take advantage of pretty often. If you are in squid form and continue to stay in squid form without leaving it as you jump into the air, you will continue to increase your ink tank at the “improved” speed you get while normally submerged. So sometimes I’ll start gaining my ink back and then start to jump out of it while moving elsewhere so I can quickly begin firing again :)) I moooostly played support in later game s2 and old habits die hard :p why fill up when I know I’ll have another chance soon? Why take time to overfill when I’m in danger Now? in single player I usually can tell when I shouldn’t need a full tank before doing something and I like to be efficient! But I definitely underestimate pretty often HAHAHA!! i hope this answers your question a bit!!

@@Ender_Spy with machine gameplay I’d argue it hurts me bc of fizzy white ink 😭😭 I would like to change my play style up for slower weapons more consistently!! it’s a good habit to have for salmon run for quick reactions though 😈 always happy to explain my funnie little brain thoughts!! And I promise you aren’t rude. It can be great experience learning how people think :DDD I got into comp only after watching a lot of other ppl!!

@@Vicvillon relatable as hell. I play brush, so I’m used to a significantly faster playstyle then stuff like slosher and charger. Sometimes it gets to the point where my brain is making commands too fast for me to actually input into the game XwX and I just have to take a moment to tell myself to slow down
