The shutdown date came so fast! I was so sad when i tried to log in, and it was shut down. Very exciting to see what complete is like. Anxiously waiting!

I was on when it shut down as well. had finally after 7 years had my Ankha show up. Just when I started talking to her is when I got the game error message.

I did this yesterday and I scrambled to get all the gyroids I wanted with 34 minutes left. I then tried to give my villagers a Christmas early but I got an error pulling my stuff out.

Love the campsite layout. Limberg is so adorable, I was trying to get his map... All the Splatoon items will be gone? Nooo. This game didn't run well on my tablet at certain moments, but I'm hoping that it being offline helps.

The trailer showed friendship powder and reissue tokens. User was receiving powder at whisper and user had reuse tokens in their inventory. The planner is supposed to carry over.

I had a bunch of the leaf tickets maps but because I didn’t have the bells to go through all of them, they are now useless to me, which is just sad. You know I understand why a lot of people won’t buy items on the flea marketplace at high price, but you gotta think why is this person, setting the price so high because the stupid leaf ticket maps the single ones cost 30,000 bills just to roll the dice and there are 20 Spaces and are usually five or six treasure chest space apart on the map you can’t auto tech them. You can only use your bells which the smaller map comes out to about 210,000 bells If not more, the bigger map has 26 spaces as well as 6 to 7 treasure chests on the way to the goal but they cost about 50,000 bills per roll of the dice so that will come out to about 350,000 bells or more, And you cannot sell those maps meaning you are stuck with them until you go through them ‘Oh you might think oh why not just sell your items directly from your own storage rather than having to trust your friends to buy your stuff” everything sells at low price when you sell it directly from your storage another thing, someone might think that it’s never played this game before “why not just buy the in-game Bells like you do some other games“ you cannot buy the in-game bells only the leaf tickets Now don’t get me wrong I love animal crossing. I was there for the original GameCube game when it came out. I even had multiple memory cards. That way I can have multiple towns and trade between them so see this game and after seven years it hurts, but I know that they have made it off-line for the next Version they came with and hopefully I’ll just have as much fun

I thought that the game shuts down at the end of the day like usual so I was crafting some stuff before it went offline and didn’t claim it so I really hope that it still transfers over 😭 I’m really glad that I was able to play it on the last day though basically the last hour as well bc that event stuff only had 15 minutes left on it before I went off I tried to record everything before hand as well I didn’t get everything but at least the things that I didn’t capture you captured in this video so thank you ^^

how did you never use snacks? i obsessed over them to get my characters to 1the 15th level as quickly as possible so i can craft the special furniture and get the special clothing. and once i did that for all i was gonna get all the characters to level 20 to get their photos.

That’s why his player level is ONLY 251 after 7 years. I routinely worked on goals to level up visitors. First, all to 15, then to 20, then to 30. I ended up getting the majority to 35. When I got more gold treats, I’d slowly work on getting those in 30-35 to 35. Got my player rank up to 470. Was only playing the game for about 3 years.

I remember my last moments in Pocket Camp. I made sure I dressed me and my family in party attire for the end of the world, I spent almost every leaf ticket I could, I even got the memorial tree and the Thank You memory with Isabelle, and even after all that, I didn’t even know when they’d pull the plug. I spent the last few minutes watching a sports slideshow on the TV in my camper van, I didn’t even know it was the end before I got booted out.

I was actually playing pocket camp when it went offline on Thursday morning as I was preparing for thanksgiving. I actually visited everyone’s cabins and campsites and RVs in my friend’s list as a way to say goodbye to everyone and be curious about how each person played their game and decorated everything. and all of us were sending each other gifts at the last minute (which I think people can see if you go to their campsite and it did get me more gifts I think). I also hit up people’s market boxes and bought as much rare fruit and common fish as I could find and it was in the market boxes where everything went offline and booted me to the pocket camp error offline dialog box. It just felt weird and then I was thinking about how we all were just sending each other gifts and whatnot when it all went offline, and I was thinking about that as I was stirring together my green bean casserole in a daze and checking my cranberries in the bowl of water. Like wow, it’s over. There is some aspects of the parasocial type relationships that I miss, like passing back and forth bugs during garden events when you notice someone is up and had a lot of free flowers open to share bugs and stuff like that. And just seeing how people presented their character and such was fun too. I liked dressing my character in themes of what was going on at the time or what I was currently taking pics of (like that time I wore an Aurora sweater and a Sakura skirt and dressed like an Aurora borealis, or dressed as a train conductor, or dressed like the silly designs on those solar eclipse glasses, etc). I’m sure they just knew me as “Annuh with the camera who just liked helping out an awful lot” and it was just fun. I miss that aspect of it in the complete version. I love the tokens and complete tickets even though Gigi’s cookie STILL won’t give me the darn locomotive.

I think Mori mentioned in an earlier video that anything growing in your garden when the game shuts down will be gone. You should still have any flowers you harvested in your inventory if I understood correctly.

Funny thing is when I got the notification is was shutting down I hopped on for the first time in over a year. I got an hour of footage but forgot to look at other parts of my map because I was in “quest” mode.. I’m going to be disappointed if the Sanrio stuff doesn’t transfer because that is a chunk of my campers and campsite decor gone. Why did I go for a cutesy aesthetic 😓

jeez level 251 you must've been playing since day 1 that's really impressive. i got to level 70 something before it shut down. i had it on my old phone and had to start new with my new phone but i'm glad i got as far as i had.

I thought we were going to play the game until 3:00 pm. Not 10:00 am. 😭 That's what happened to me. And my sister. The game ended when it was past 10:00 am. It was supposed to be 3:00 pm. Don't know why Nintendo decided to change the time at the last minute. Or, they could have told us a day EARLIER. Like a disclaimer or something. Then, they wouldn't have to rip us off like this. But, I understand that Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Complete is gonna come out in five days. I can see why Nintendo wanted to change the time. So that they would have more time to develop the game for release. Anyway, I'm sad that Animal Crossing Pocket Camp had shut down, and I'm going to miss playing this fantastic game. Played this game back in 2019. Man, seven years? What a ride it has been. 😢 I'll miss Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. The game will always be in my heart. ❤

The time didn't change. The time announced was for a specific time zone, UTC. If you clicked the final notice in the planner it showed when it ends for your time zone.

3pm was for UK time. It showed you your correct time for your time zone in your journal. It was never changed.

@@anisatrevino1068 Just so you know the release of PCC will be UTC as well. 10PM pacific, on the 2nd. Which will be 6am UTC on the 3rd. So depending on time zone you might get it a little bit earlier than you expected.

I was on as it shutdown. With a friend as my friends game shutdown I was still on but as soon as I updated the servers I got booted out (I was booted out by talking to a npc)

The animal crossing pocket camp shutting down limbo is a liminal space itself. Everyone is there, but the souls aren't, and pìctures sometimes don't show....... spooky!
