Something a recently discovered is that you can actually “cancel” guardian angel *after* you do either of the jumps, which puts it on cooldown faster so that you can use it more often.

@@jackday738 Tapping shift again cancels GA movement and makes it go on cooldown faster. GA normally doesn’t actually go on cooldown until movement is finished, so if you superjump or GA boost, it actually extends the cooldown and you can’t use it for longer. People complain about GA being on a 2 sec cooldown when actually it’s more like 4 or 5 depending on how far and long you fly.

@@Theguyoverthere603 it also depends on your mercy settings. With “toggle guardian angel” off, your GA comes off cooldown faster when you immediately let go of shift after your directional input! It gives you more freedom, and you can let go of shift at any time before you use your second half of GA to stop your flight :)

Ik I said it on the last flats mercy video, but God I love watching people learn Mercy. The gameplay is so much slower than im used to. Tip: You can look around a lot more, because you don't have to be looking at ur beam target for it to stay connected. You should always asess your surroundings before you rez. Also when you pop Valk, think about if your team mate will die in the quick window where the beam disconnects. Some times it isn't worth valking until you ensure your teammate is safe. But youre getting so much better Flats! This already looks much cleaner than your last mercy video! :) 💕

When done right, it's the best way to do it. Using crouch will send you straight up with no lateral movement, but if you look up a bit while guardian angeling, you can use jump to get a large boost forward.

Flats flying straight up in his valk hurts so much (I mean that in a friendly way ofc) one hitscan and he would've been a fallen angel real quick Edit: I think I've said this on another vid of yours but you can ping the soul and Mercy with give a cue that you're going to rez or if your rez is still on cd

As a Plat (almost diamond, like seriously I'm soooo close but I keep going on losing streaks) console player that mains Cassidy, its next to impossible to kill a decent valking mercy, I have to hit like 5 consecutive shots and that's considering there's no damage falloff happening. Plus I'm at the level now where valking mercys know how to hide from high noon.

Big difference is that you are playing with people you know. Most games people wont even try to peak their mercy and then will cry about no heals/dmg boost as they just forever press W into the enemy team. Retreating is half the battle, so when it does happen it actually feels like christmas. Great gameplay none the less :D

I get this is a nice comment and I don’t want to be mean but I can’t help but wonder what the point of it was. This could be said on literally any KZbin video ever so why say it? It’s really that unique creative or funny and doesn’t have much to do with the video either. I get you had good intentions and that’s great and I’m probably only bothered by it now because there was a period of KZbin where every single comment was exactly yours or some variation of thanking the creator and 90% of those comments were from bots. It was bot apocalypse, and these bots would be getting liked like crazy. mercy is the character for people with insecurities who know they arent good enough to play another character at a high level so they cling to the easiest one

Except Mercy is by no means "easy". I am by no means a Mercy main. She is my least played support, but she will only get an untalented player so far before they become a detriment. Usually High Gold or in the new ranking Gold 1 - Plat 5. Mercy is one of the easiest supports to heal with given you cannot miss, simply be out of range of line of sight of enemies. And has one of the most powerful movements even competing with Lucio. High level Mercy mains know when to pull out the glock and how to play cover or switch between heal/damage buff. Tl;Dr She is the easiest for people to pick up, but she is by no means the easiest to play at a high level.
