You've got the right mentality for the early stages of iRacing with play it safe and wait till others make mistakes. Theres a few corners it looks like you were taking a little too fast which is why you were spinning. But yeah, keep the mentality of "slow is smooth and smooth is fast" and play it safe and you'll be climbing the ranks for sure.

MuYe at 11:47. That is a Micro sprint Car, as someone who has raced them in real life, they are fun. You will need a dirt track like an oval. My suggestion is find a short track and then a medium track. Throw it into the turn and counter steer. I hope this helps

rookies is a lot of fun(honstly ff1600 is the most fun car in the sim to me) honstly i say say do rookies till your bord of the cars as ounce you get into payed races expect arond 45 bucks a mouth in content for a year or 2. it can be less or more depnding on the races your doing or if you skip a week but if you expext around 45 than you wont be annoyed with how much money iracing eats. after about a year you should have enough content that you wont need to buy tracks all the time.

As a car mechanic that knows nothing about sim racing. I think you had to drop one gear in that corner, because the front wheels were braking but the rear ones were still pushing (because of the higher rotations of being a gear up) that caused you to oversteer, at least thats what i think happened.🤔

Yep. I'd have dropped a gear and stayed on the gas. Muye had the right idea later by stay8ng on the gas to keep pressure on the rear wheels. Needs more rear toe in, among other changes to keep it from oversteering into oblivion. Tire pressure may have been a hair too high on the back left.

The funny thing is, this game feels exactly like LiveForSpeed except you can play LFS offline and for free. There is a demo available with a few tracks and a few cars so you can try the game out. The vehicles are unlicenced but inspired by real world vehicles. There are hundreds of vehicles and tracks in the paid versions, but I think it's what you pay is what you get and you get to keep it, no subscription bs. The driving physics/difficulty feel very similar from what I have seen in your video too. LFS is also fully configurable too, you can tune grear ratios and stuff and definitely very easy to spin out in a rwd vehicle as well. 😂 Seriously can't see the appeal of iracing though. Feels far too steep a proce for what you actually get. Seems like their only claim to fame is that "the alternative games are not iracing" which I think is rather lame. Great video. Thank you for making it. Now I can safely say iracing is not worth the hype for me. 😁👍

Ej btw, you don´t HAVE to spend a lot of money. Once you´re class D your races will gain you ingame money. So a big tip is to get into oval Racings Draftmaster at least once a week by buying just 2 Tracks and about 3 or 4 cars. In Draftmaster there are only the same 2 Tracks used throughout the seasons and theres the same cars in rotation. Buy enough cars yo cou can play in 8 Weeks and you will gain 4$ every 13 weeks. Then maybe choose some series which uses the same car and just switches Tracks and it´s 8$ every 13 weeks and easy peasy safe a lot of money. Cars and Tracks cost about 14$ each, so it does not take super long if you act smart.

Yes iRacing can be expensive, but if you get the 40% off deal of $66 (£52) for a year that works out as $5.50 (£4.32) a month. Thats less than PS plus which you have to have for GT7 to race online. You can have great fun just with free content. I still love the FF1600 series, quite tricky cars to start but don't take long to learn. The MX-5 series is also completely free and iRX series is great fun. But I would advice once out of rookies to buy a Ferrari 296. A good amount (about 1/3) of the Ferrari series are free tracks, and you can use it for all GT3 races. But lets face it no one just sticks to free content. I have bought about 20 Tracks, but I get them all on the 6 item discount and get 20% off. But i've really enjoyed racing and now trying other sims online they just seem to be hit and miss. I didn't try iRacing for years as everyone said it was too expensive. I also thought that if you stopped subscription you would loose all the tracks you bought, this is a common misconception and not true. Im 6 months in now and without a doubt its the best online racing i've played by far. The tracks are all laser scanned and very accurate. Ive done track days at brands hatch and iRacings version of that it the most accurate i've tried. It sucks you in and yes it is actually expensive, I think if you stop subscription you should still have access to Ai races with the tracks you bought. Nice vid, fun to watch

I've been subbed for iRacing for 4 months and have yet to race online. Don't know really why I'm hesitant. I play GT7, Assetto Corsa, and Assetto Corsa Competizone online no problem. I'm subbed for 2 years. They had a 50% off when I went to buy in. Maybe this week I'll give the Mazda MX5 Cup a go. I will say the physics are top notch even if the graphics aren't. iRacing has this really cool feature in which you hit a button and it saves your location and speed on the track. You hit a different button and it INSTANTLY puts you back at that spot on the track going at the speed you set it. It's so good for learning a particular section for instance. I recommend you look that up. I can't remember what it's called though.
