Playing For Change (PFC) is a movement created to inspire and connect the world through music, born from the shared belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. The primary focus of PFC is to record and film musicians performing in their natural environments and combine their talents and cultural power in innovative videos called Songs Around The World. Creating these videos motivated PFC to form the Playing For Change Band-a tangible, traveling representation of its mission, featuring musicians met along their journey; and establish the Playing For Change Foundation-a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to building music and art schools for children around the world. My father loves this song, and this specific version of the song. Two months ago he got ill and was sent to the hospital. Later on he was diagnosed with glioblastoma, the worst kind of brain cancer. Doctors said treatment was not worth it because if he survived, he would be in coma for the rest of his life, unable to move, talk and even function properly without the help of medical support. He may depart at any moment. Dad, I love you with all my heart. Hope to see you again when my time comes. Till then, all I got is the memories of the wonderful time we had together. Thank you for everything you taught me, all the sacrifice you made so I could have a better life. I’ll miss you so much dad. When you meet grandpa and grandma, tell them I said hi, and that I miss them too.

Eu acabei de assistir e tenho assistido.... confesso que sinto até saudades daqueles tempos, inicio de 2000 mas principalmente dos anos 90 pra tràs. onde era mais visível o amor pelas pessoas atraves das canções. não digo todas, mas hoje está cada vez mais raro achar canções poéticas que inspiram as pessoas. canções que entram na alma de verdade, as letras tem sido escritas mas há a falta da essência ao escreve-las. basta olhar para essa canção. a letra é simples, mas invade a alma... o bons tempos...

RIP Mrs. Landry you were the best biology and chemistry teacher any high school student could’ve asked for. You always played this video at the end of class to remind us that we are all the same and we can all count on each other to help one another. I graduated high school in 2016 but this is one of the things I remember and will forever remember about you and will continue to show it to the younger generation in your honor. Rest easy angel you did your work here on earth and now God has called you home.

Loved grandpa Elliot. Broke down in tears when I learned he passed. Clarence Bekker's voice is amazing. I know he was broken hearted when Grandpa passed.
