Zack had infinite mana. With a Kodama trigger on the stack, tap two lands to pay for the breezecaller. Untap one land and return the other to hand. Use the Kodama trigger to replay the land generating a mana with the cobra and getting another Kodama trigger. Repeat.
@drew9413 жыл бұрын
Kodama player had infinite* colorless to try and draw into a win with breeze caller, cobra, ancient tomb, and bonder's enclave. He would just take 2 every time he loops them... But that's still 16 cards to try and get true infinite mana and dig for a win. Edit: that's what I get for commenting mid game. I still think going for enclave draws is the right move. Can someone break down Zack's turn at 9:30 to me, please? Kodama says "if it wasn't put onto the battlefield with this ability" so how did he keep getting triggers off of the cards he was putting out? Casting Sakashima triggers the initial Kodama, and he gets the Lotus Cobra into play for free. Is he getting the other triggers from the copy since the Cobra was put into play with the original Kodama? Then each Kodama triggering off the other one until the chain goes to 0?
@brandonkwhiz3 жыл бұрын
Sakashima copies Kodama, so he has two copies of Kodama. When the first Kodama triggers and he puts something onto the battlefield it triggers the second. He then puts another permanent onto the battlefield which triggers the first. This creates a loop to continue putting permanents onto the battlefield.
