The first TY was my childhood. Had it on GameCube though. Pretty good collectathon style game.

My best pick ups this month: SNES Super Mario World CIB in near mint condition for £240, Disney Adventure CIB mint basically new for £40, and a bunch of other snes CIB for like 50 percent less than the US market.

some cool pickups! I loved mario wonder and mario rpg. at least mario rpg's relatively short (and features an easy mode, so dying should hopefully be mininmal if you do decide to try it)

Whacked is more like a party deathmatch game with crude humour. It's the type of game we can't have anymore because people are oversensitive about everything. Absolutely worth playing.

There's a Ty the Tasmanian tiger 3pack coming out for switch at some point, gotten announced yesterday. Has Ty1, Ty2, and Ty4 all on one switch cart. Not sure why at the lack of Ty3 🤔

I definitely got my fair share of games within the last month. I attended the Toronto Comic Con a few weeks ago where several vendors were selling video games. The best deal I got was Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for the Xbox 360 which was just $1 CAD. I paid literal pennies for about 49 games! I also ended up getting a bunch of Just Dance games as the vendor offered me a discount for buying all the ones they had, when I was initially just planning on getting one. I suppose the best part of owning the older Just Dance games is that they aren't just a code in a box like the new ones. Just yesterday I bought a few games from Facebook Marketplace, Sonic (2006) as I am a longtime fan and just wanted it for my collection, and Spiderman 3 as I didn't have change so I just ended picking another game to buy which just so happens to be rare now since every Spiderman game published by Activision has been delisted for the last decade.

1:25 this is actually the first time I’ve ever seen someone call Super Mario Bros U an “amazing” game. My impression is most people (myself included) were underwhelmed with the game. Cool to hear a differing opinion about it.

If we're talking about the Switch version of New Super Mario Bros. U, then yes some found it disappointing given that it was seen as another port of a Wii U game being sold at full price with little improvements and even omitted content from the original release. But that said the New Super Mario Bros. line of games has its fans, in fact New Super Mario Bros. DS was the first 2D Mario game I ever got and finished, so I and some others definitely have fonder memeories than say a fan whose been playing since the NES days.

7:16 I liked the Namco Museum series for the PS1 when they were actual virtual museums with interactive exhibits. I actually navigated through those more than the actual arcade games they showcased

Is it possible to request a repro of saturn covers/booklets from them? I annoyingly enough have 1 US copy of Shining Wisdom thats missing the front and I've been kinda annoyed at the incompleteness of it.

There was a Ty remaster. I own a copy on Xbox One, but they were kinda shitty about it and only included the first game remaster on disk and the 2nd game is a download code. 🙃

I'm not sopiazed that Saturn game is an CD-R since eventough you can emulate the BCA data it's kind of hard for system to not see that. That wobble data adam give is how the laser keeps track of imoftion wean the disk is bruned wean you the disk is read that has no meading unless to make the system look for it. That's why the whole DVD dash and plus thing only mattered wean the disk was being wirted to since the readers act as if that wobble data doesn't esxit.

Not related to this video and i dont think you've done one, but I'd love you to do a video on digital games to download on xbox 360 before the store closes in july. I'm pro physical media mainly like yourself but like myself I'm sure you've made exceptions especially with the vast array that was on xbox live arcade that all if not purchased soon will come extinct to many without console mods etc

I love the original Xbox. I wish Microsoft had sold more of them.I personally think its a better console than the PS2, even though the PS2 smoked the competion in the 6th gen.
