You didn't mention the fact that the Enterprise had Bluetooth/app controlled effects. This only has manual buttons. That probably explains some of the price difference. App control is great to have when the ship is hanging high up in the ceiling and I wish this had the same.

Different viewscreen cartridges? What is it a SNES? I really like the base is that weird?

What are the dimensions for this thing? I can't find them anywhere. Gonna get this for sure. Its too good to pass up and its so unique. It can hang from the ceiling. The electronics raise the price for sure. I guess the Enterprise did well enough to warrant this. Its an adult collector item for sure.

I saw this up close at NYCC comic-con and it looked awesome. Now Playmobile needs to do a Deep Space Nine station.

They should have produced a D7 instead of a Bird Of Prey, as it would fit in much better with the current TOS Enterprise model that playmobil have made.

Diamond Select Toys SHOULD have also released either the Klingon D7Battle-Cruiser OR.... the iconic K'T'inga class Battle-Cruiser as an actual toy by now............................................................................. AND THEY STILL HAVEN'T!!! I really really really want a toy Klingon D7 Battle Cruiser with actual lights and sounds included!

I think 🤔 Playmobil did a pretty good job on the Klingon Bird of Prey. I would like if they would add a few more figures for kirks crew. Like Scotty, Sulu, Bones, Chekhov would been great even Kirk son David. Or an option to buy them separately. It would be cool to see USS Grissom at some point. I think the price is okay. I may pick up being a Star Trek collector. Yes I the price could been a little less $250. But that’s ok. Still looks good.

I still need to know more they need to give more info cuz it's too vague and what sound clips it has and they need to be more detailed oriented to get more info to their customers if they want them to buy something with that amount especially if they're tight on funds

This one looks better scale then the enterprise tho now the features and price will make break it after all I remember the micro playsets the bird of prey was cool but bulky among the others

Great review. As a Playmobil fan I'm biased. But I think they did a good job and agree that they did a better job compared to the Enterprise. The Klingons look great.

I'm not playmobil fan but as Pop culture fan I'd buy it cuz it's the f$# Bird of Prey!!! 🤤👌✌️ I had bought the DeLorean and that set from Back to the future so why not buy this spaceship?

The BoP looiks cool, but it's still well outside of my price range. As cool as it looks, there's a lot of things I'd much rather spend $300 on, a lot. As for size, you can get a rough idea of size by comparing the figures to it. Ask your pal the Commander to see if he can't find any good shots of the BoP with the figures and dump it/them into Photoshop.

It's priced too high for me to pre-order. I'm going to need to see other people actually interacting with theirs before I spend that much on it. Maybe see if the price goes down at all. That said, if they announced a D-7 at the Enterprise size, I'd be handing over my money in an instant.

Playmobil didn't use to be this expensive. For example, the Ghostbusters headquarters was under $100. Since they started licensing Back to the Future and Star Trek the prices for these products have been much more comparatively. Either the licensing deal is more costly to them, or they are charging more because they are targeting the collector's market over the kid's market with these toys.

The star trek models are pretty expensive to make. large parts of heavy plastic are not that easy to do. The license has to be super cheap because a tiny german lego competitor also got a license to make Star Trek toys in Lego style(and their models are brilliant and pretty well priced.)
