Dunno if anyone heard but. Jeff Van Gundy brought up a good point during the Cavs Bulls game. LeBron and team were able to take time to draw up a play because of the free timeout they were granted due to replay review. This is a stupid technicality that needs to be fixed. Both teams were out of timeouts but a simple dispute about ball possession gave a team that was 0.8 seconds out of overtime a solid chance to figure out strategy. There needs to be some sort of adjustment to the rule. When refs are looking over these replays, teams shouldn't be given chances to huddle up with coaches.

Rose hits game winner people cry luck. Lebron hits game winner it's all thanks to the extra timeout... Excuses on both sides for some great plays haha when games come down to the wire you start to nitpick certain calls (like Noah's clear foul on lebron) or how rose just got "lucky" happens all the time :p

There has literally been no other time where I had said LeBron hit a game winner thanks to a free timeout. I didnt call it luck when he score 25 straight games against the Pistons or when he hit that game winner against the Dwight Howard magic in the conference finals. But when an instance like this comes up where a team is given a chance to prepare when they were not supposed to have been given on, it will raise questions. Like what if. What if LeBron did not get that extra timeout? What if they had 0.8 instead of 1.5?

***** True. You're right. Its just that this was the most recent case where technicalities could have possibly altered the outcome of a game. Which was why I agree with JVG about a rule change of some kind. Cavs should have won that game regardless. But still. Its the NBA. Who knows?

I love how at 18:17, Chuck seems upset at Kenny calling him out for being paid to watch the game..... and finally just copping to the fact he switched between the game and golf tournament hahahah

So, you guys probably remember that famous Chuck highlight when he hits a buzzer beater for the Suns in the playoffs - Didnt he bank that one in? Just sayin, since hes trying to discredit D-Rise and the Thruth ;-)
@thedefinitionisthis9 жыл бұрын
drsuperbus THANK YOU! i was thinkin' that too (though, wasn't it for the Sixers?).... considering that's like Chuck's signature highlight almost...... y'know... other than him fighting Shaq haha...

drsuperbus if you're talking about the shot over David Robinson in the 1993 playoffs, then that is most certainly not a bank shot - but a beautiful 20 footer nothing but net. :) although it was not a buzzer beater, since there were a couple of seconds left.

Cavs got very lucky. They would have lost if the refs had called the the timeout...in other words the refs robbed the bulls

Run Through The Tape Thanks! I hope the Cavs get a new coach next year, but that's probably not gonna happen. Great shot by LeBron; I hope Gasol can come back this series.To me, he is the difference between them being able to win a championship or not.

20:03, Kenny with no shame, Shaq's special shout out and Ernie's infectious laugh. You can hate Shaq, but I've never seen Ernie laugh so much as when Shaq joined the show. Take the good with the bad (mainly his free throw rants.)
@vinnyl2649 жыл бұрын
Haha the free throw rants can be annoying, but you can also understand how Shaq might be bitter. He's probably the most hacked player in the history of the game

emotional weekend of ball. Thanks again for the upload, brotha! All those buzzer-beaters... As a D.Rose fan, I gotta admit Friday was awesome. I just finished watching First Take, and I was just... not feeling Stephan A. or Skip.... reducing Rose's play to just sheer luck..... Then on Sunday, you have Blatt damn near costing his team the game, and the Cav's SOMEHOW procuring another time-out with extra-time... with LBJ getting the hero's welcome. I'm not hater, I'll give credit where credit is due, and Lebron has come in clutch many times before..... but Game 4 just didn't sit well with me, on that front. And then you got Houston/LA..... i'm rooting for Clips, but even I have to admit, that was painful to watch hahaha.
