Tak is freakishly good at explaining analyzing, and applying tactics. Win or lose, every game comes down to dice as he rarely makes mistakes. And that’s not even mentioning Tycho’s ability to find exploits in every list he likes to play. Awesome game.

I appreciate the compliment. I do really enjoy the strategic and tactical side of the game (even though many of my lists don't show it) and I like to share that love for that side of the game as much as possible. I do feel very rusty at times as I only get to play when we are shooting a game now, and this comment makes me want to play more so I can stay on top of my game.

Tak did incredibly well tactically, considering he'd been huffing paint fumes every night for days straight, including right before (and slightly into the start of) the game. 😂

Now THIS was an amazing episode. Kept on the edge for the whole video. I LOVE this kind of set-up... Each player knew their own weaknesses and strengths. Tak could NOT have fought the death guard straight up and so his maneuvers on the board were awesome! I'm so glad neither side got washed. Each player seemed to get a nice mix of hype moments and "Awwwgh!" moments... Wonderful episode!

Great battle report! Honestly hyped to see the White Scars come out to play, you don't see them in too many battle reps. With that said it is absolutely shameful how bad the rules are for the Outrider squad. Sure they can zoom around, and then do literally nothing else. White Scars always look amazing when done by a quality painter. My first marines I did when I started painting during Covid were White Scars… which looked terrible and now they are all stripped and redone as Salamanders. Seeing how clean these look makes me what to revisit them. Lol

Absolutely love seeing the White Scars being played!! Although I may be a Blood Angel/Black Templar kind-of guy, I made a successor chapter centered around the White Scars. I truly believe they are an underrated faction that deserves more love - the Khan was a fantastic, sensical Primarch, with a tactical eye. One of the only ones with common sense. It's nice to see the Sons of the Khan gain some love. The Great Hunt never ends, and I hope this content doesn't, either! :) great content, as always!

Don't forget the Chaplain on Bike gives Cataclysm of Fire. Meaning you add +1 to wound with all ranged attacks. I think that multimelta would have wounded on 4's.

Can somebody explain the Pile-In Move of the bikes at 33:58? Is this legit. After the Infernus was attacked, they're allowed to?

It was not a clear declaration but the Myphitic Blight Hauler charged both the bikes and the Infernus Marine because Tycho had concerns of fitting the base in a way where he would be out of engagement range of the Bikes anyway. The pile in move with the bike models must move towards the enemy model while also staying in coherency. In a Leviathan Chapter Approved mission you are allowed to have a model on top of an objective. There was a little bit of juggling there to stay in coherency. I hope that resolves the question.

That lone infernus really came back and bit Tycho in the nurgle butt, the 5 pts swing could win him the game! Again shoutout to Tak for demonstrating SM codex, the removal of wound reroll really affect my mood for the past week but the Takmarine showed me once more what lack in the ability to purge could be made up with tactical intelligence

27:11 Is armor of contempt just usable any time now? Otherwise not only is Armor of Contempt not usable here, but the Death Guard contagion ability does not add extra AP it changes the save characteristic to a 3+
