They recited the entire scripts from memory, taking shots every time they messed up a line. It was so funny, I hope someone ripped it

I think a good idea of where to start is what Sci-Fi movie do you like? I loved the intro scene from Terminator 2 so I went Necrons to replicate that feeling! Like Starship Troopers? The Sisters deserve more. I mean, they are regular women in power armour, doing literal miracles in the name and through the power of the God-Emperor. Their being religious fanatics makes them extra resilient to chaos-corruption, and they burn everything heretic with extreme prejudice. They are the exact sweetspot between boringly normal like the Astra Militarum, and stupidly overpowered like the Space Marines. What's not to love?

Remember, if someone online tries to tell you 'there are no good guys' or to bring their politics into it, just smile and tell them you're not here for that. 40k is about stories in a dystopian setting, it's not a commentary or a message, it's about a galaxy circling the drain with slim to no chance of a bright future. Still, despite the odds, brave men and women fight for survival and you play their stories on the table, whether it's with or against them.

@@lazyvipurr4698 40k is 40k, anything that isn't within the boundary set by books, codex fluff, games and the like is not 40k, that's your own thing. You can make an Arabian Space Marine chapter with silk and gold adornments, that's 40k. You can make an all female regiment of guardsmen, that's 40k. You can make a viking themed genestealer cult that's invaded a low tech world and uses catapults and horses instead of imperial equipment, even that's 40k. If you start putting on real world political icons on models, whether they're "funny crosses" or hammers and sickles, that's not 40k, same goes with less extreme or offensive symbols.
