PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation - 2024 Livestream

Sony will hold a PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation, hosted by Mark Cernyon Sept. 10 at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST. The livestream will last only 9-minutes, and Sony said, the presentation "will focus on PS5 and innovations in gaming technology."

Also, 'we replaced a chip, it performs better now'* is that really worth a 200 - 250 euro price hike, looks like they are only doing discless and they don't seem te tell if the disc module for PS5 Slim is interchangeable... Add to that higher controller prices, Sony seems to try and patch money flow issues *= They basically talked about 1 chip, the gpu, no upgrade at cpu level, memory or storage which would also improve performance

Lol. I'm a PC gamer, and to see, they only overclocked the memory on the system for a small amount of performance, which is not worth 700.00. Looks like Sony is trying to make money from the system this time around. You're better off investing into a PC. But if you prefer a console, just wait for the ps6. Save your money, console fans.

@@Elatenl When increasing the memory speeds, that's what overclocking is or even if they didn't overclock it is still a small minor adjustment to add faster memory clock speeds which is still not a big deal but overall point is it's not much of an upgrade at all and the system is not that much very powerful but if you want to spend $700 for like a small increase of performance go right ahead, it's your money.
