for people who got digital edition and sold their ps4, you can download your save data from the cloud if you uploaded it beforehand, although this would happen on ps4 automatically so it more than likely has.

@@jesusisking5952 I live in Australia, and purchased the "disc" console from my local distributor - "JB Hi Fi". I was lucky because the guy on the waiting list never showed and they let me have the last one. Didn't have to wait any longer and hell knows when I would of scored one otherwise!

I can’t wait getting this as a surprise for Valentine’s Day in a few weeks of my girlfriend. Been one year without a console sold my Xbox this month last year to get a ps5 couldn’t get it anywhere been trying since December 2020. The entire game is installed on the console. The disk is essentially just a license. Other than that great video

Digital games take up more space than disc games. When a disc is played the PS5 is reading information off the disc, and the system partially downloads the game to read it faster. With digital games all the information is read from the hard drive which takes up more space.

@@SirPeregrinTook False. For both the PS4 and PS5 the games are fully installed on the storage drive and read from there for both digital and disc games. Disc read speed is way too slow for todays games data throughput requirements, specially for the PS5, there would be no point to the incredible speed of the SSD if games were just read from the disc. This doesn't mean that discs are useless though, physical media is always the best since you actually own the game and you can do whatever you want with it.

i'm still enjoying my ps3. currently playing dante's inferno, then will play castlevania. watching this video makes me want to hug my ps3 (slim), i wont be giving that up anytime soon. i still feel there's plenty of life left in the ps4, i think it has a good 4-5 years left in that still. it still feels like a powerful console. i feel ps5 is released too early. i mean, look at the features - most of it corresponds to the ps4, so basically using the same technology - hdmi, blu ray, etc. consoles these days have shorter life spans which is sad really, means more going to waste and landfill at a faster rate. i dont plan on getting ps5 anytime soon, not until the price is down at a reasonable level, theres a slimmer version of it out, and had a variety of games to play. i tend to play adventure games. so i might be getting mine perhaps at the end of this decade, if i'm still gaming and not retired from it yet!
